Watergate was the name of the damn office building. period. Nixon's dead and so should be this annoying practice.

Wasn't it the hotel?

Here, you know what one REALLY annoys me, probably more than anyone else?

This is madness!

THIS IS SPARTAAAAA!

This affects me a lot more than most people. Most people will probably have heard it once or twice a day. I hear it at least five.

You know why? My archaic manner of speaking. I actually SAY "This is madness!" I'm NOT cuing you to say "THIS! IS! SPARTAAAAA!" FIVE TIMES A DAY!

Wow, you guys are crabby today. I think somebody needs a hug.

*hugs crabby nightlifers forcefully if not violently*

That should do it. My work is done. cool.gif

Also to add to the list:
  • Austin Powers impressions
  • adding 'i' to the beginning of any random device to make it sound more high-tech
  • Chuck Norris jokes
  • Pie jokes
  • using Strong Bad quotes in lieu of having anything remotely interesting to say
  • using Simpsons/Family Guy/whatever quotes in lieu of having anything remotely interesting to say
  • Lil Jon jokes (shouting "yeah", "okay" or "what" a la the rapper in place of just saying the fucking words like a normal human being)
I'll think up more later, probably.

Pie jokes? I don't think those are popular around here as I can't think of what you mean by it. Can someone provide an example, please?

Definitely feeling all the others that have been mentioned by anyone. That plus the whole 1337 thing.
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

I thought of another:

Making reference to Spinal Tap for no reason pisses me off. The next time I hear someone say that something "goes to 11" I will kick them square in the throat.

I'll second this one. What is a pie joke?

People using pie as some sort of comedic device, as if pie in and of itself is just funny. I see it all the time, and it's annoying.
Weebl And Bob is likely responsible for this.

Anything to do with ninjas and/or pirates. They have been so thoroughly ruined. I can't even be sad about it because all I want is for it to stop. I don't even want to think about either of them even on my own terms. It's over. They ought to be erased from the history books.

Holy crap... is that REALLY WalrusOfPlastic?

I totally agree. The pirates/ninjas thing is on the original L&E played out list c. 2000-2001.

Sorry if it makes you cry
but the fact that due to the popularity

of Pirates there is actually a reality show
based on pirates and buried treasure.

I admit that im an offender
b/c i do use the terms 'savvy' and 'one-ies'

But a SHOW?!?!?!?
This can only cause further

harm to the pirate name
Like if thats not over and

above corny and ridiculous then ......
i don't know but its bad
