I was just reading through the latest replies to this thread and I thought about your comment, Barend, about how if you had a rancor, you would use it.

That makes sense. But would you seriously feed a sexy dancing girl to it? Wouldn't you rather, you know, hang on to any attractive females?

If I was in Jabba's place, I would feed that annoying gremlin Salucious Crumb to it (WHY do I know the name of that critter? It's not mentioned ANYWHERE in the film. Neither is the word 'ewok' either).

I would also throw in that useless offsider who seems to take over the role of translator all the time (even though Threepio is standing right beside him)... and I'd throw in all the damn free-loaders who were hanging around.

Oh, I also like the point about how everybody conveniently stands on the exact section of the floor where the trap-door is. Doesn't it remind you of 'Team America'?

"A little to the left, Hanz... a little more... yes..."

I also liked how Threepio warned Luke about it and Luke just completely ignored him.

"Master Luke, you're standing on..."

"Not now, Threepio. I'm busy."

"Um... okay, sorry."

kill Sal-C? no way... i would breed an army of him. Imagine 130 of those little fuckers climbing in through every window in your home at 2 in the morning armed with steak knives to collect a dept.

fastest cheque you ever wrote i can tell you.

the whole point of all thoses freeloaders hanging around the walls is to force anyone new in the room to take up the only unoccupied bit of floor in the room: the trap door! don't you know anything about villainous feng shui?

Nice. But save it for the Endor movie, please.

The pig-guards were obviously molded plastic. At least the Ughnaugts had great lighting and music going for them. Dim lighting, and terror- and muppets. That's how Jabba likes to have a good tme.

You're right. That's scary.

Loved the villanious feng-shui comment by the way. Touche.

Jedi is probably my favorite. I loved jabbas palace, and the sarlaac and rancor as a kid. Fuck, I wanted to be there, hanging around and partying and watching people get eaten by horrible things.
I still remember all the huttese, and the rebo band background music when jabba tries to lick leia on the sailbarge was the first thing i learned to play on my casio.

The space battle is great, as were the emperor scenes. Ewoks were lame, but bikes and ATST's come to sorta solve that. Best JW soundtrack, too.

ESB is definitely a better movie, and ANH had all the charisma, but jedi has a special place for me..

Not to mention hanging out with all those creatures that simply defied evolution.
It seems like everyone is over the nitpicking. Too bad.
