by the way...my snes looks brand new..i take exquisite care of it.
Peter Brady was by far the ugliest Brady kid on the "Brady Bunch". I mean, they were all pretty ugly, and the fact that the Brady dad wanted to always take the boys out on overnight camping trips just a tad bit too often, gave me the creeps.

Sweet Jeebus, those NTSC SNES' are ugly.

...Sorry, had to say that.

Anyway, if that happens to European Super Nintendos, it hasn't happened to mine.

You took the words strait out of my mouth, except you substituted Australian with European. Oh well, we can't all be perfect. Especially those out there that don't use the metric system tongue.gif

Though I have to say that article was actually an interesting read.

The color is not a big deal.
As long as you can play with it, no problem with that.
That’s the point.

depends on who is playing the system..or rather, more specifically..who is not playing the system

with the latter reference referring to avid serious collectors, who diligently dedicate much effort into ensuring their collectibles are in prestine condition. and with certain atmospheric elements being abundant to wear down and age their system's appearance..it becomes important to them to make sure it isnt subjected to such.

Oh noes! It's not mint condition anymore! Now it won't be worth as much money I will never sell it for!

Seriously, I collect games because they're good games that I enjoy playing. I've not had any plastic oxidation on any of my consoles, but I wouldn't care if it did happen as long as it still worked.

And NTSC > PAL. biggrin.gif

Edit: Oxidation, not oxidization. What was I thinking?
