Though didn't we all die at least a little watching Daredevil?

I'm one of the ones that have to admit a certain guilty pleasure in actually liking the movie. Ben Affleck was okay it was just the rest of the actors.
"And shepherds we shall be for Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth unto Thee and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti!!!"

Hey i like the movie too
Its the Jades agreeing again!
The story line was alright and
the acting was acceptable

but Ben Affleck trying
WAAaaay to hard to be sexy and buff.
That scene at the end of the
movie is too much for me.

He's got his belly fat sucked
in so tight he can't hardly breathe.
You know they panned the
camera up so he could relax.

Duct tape is like the force....

There's a lightside, a darkside

and it holds everything together

In that costume, who wouldn't have had trouble breathing?

So... anyone here watch those animated direct to DVD features Marvel put out? These include 2 Ultimate Avengers adaptations and one Invincible Iron Man, soon to be followed by a Dr. Strange adaptation.

Later this year, DC releases its own animated DVD, "Superman: Doomsday", based on the Death of Superman storyline from 1993, and then some time next year there will be animated adaptations of "DC: The New Frontier" and "Teen Titans: The Judas Contract".

"Superman: Doomsday" will feature Adam Baldwin as the voice of Superman/Clark Kent, Anne Heche as the voice of Lois Lane and James Marsters as the voice of Lex Luthor.

"New Frontier" will feature Kyle MacLachlan as the voice of Superman/Clark Kent, Lucy Lawless as Wonder Woman, Neil Patrick Harris as Flash/Barry Allen, David Boreanez/Angel guy as the voice of Hal Jordan/Green Lantern, and Brooke Shields as the voice of Carol Ferris. Martian Manhunter will also appear, but no word on his voice yet, Batman will also appear but they say longtime Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy has been dismissed from the role because they think he carries too much DCAU "baggage" and they want to emphasize that this is not part of the previous DCAU series.

And I don't know diddly about what's going on with "Teen Titans: Judas Contract".

Funny thing: Adam Baldwin voiced Hal Jordan on JLU while Neil Patrick Harris voiced the Atom/Ray Palmer. Talk about promotions.

Same here. Whenever I read Batman comics, I hear Kevin Conroy's Batman voice in my head as I read over Batman's dialogue. The only actor I can think of replacing Conroy as Batman's voice is Ron Perlman (Hellboy and many other supporting DCAU roles).

Of course, I really wanted Tim Daly to continue being Superman for Justice League and that didn't happen due to outside elements (COUGH::shortlivedFugitiveremake::COUGH).

Ron Perlman..
i don't know he has a gritty-ness

to his voice that might make Batman a little to ...
Well Perlman's voice is so definate, perhaps to hard

to be Batman but awesome for Hellboy
(another sequel I wanna see next year).

Fugitive remake?
like the Harrison Ford Movie?

Perlman actually played Batman once, in this game. But since I wouldn't play that game if they actually paid me for it, I don't know if he sounds good.

EDIT: YouTube to the rescue!

Agreed and Conroy, and especially with Daly. I was very apprehensive when they first announced him for that Superman animated series, but he did a stellar job as Supes and Kent.

But man, that Batman cartoon really nailed so many of the voices...reading the comics now, that's how I hear Batman/Wayne, the Joker, Harley Quinn, Two-Face, Clayface (Pearlman strikes again!), the Riddler and R'as Al Ghul. It's phenomenal how many things that series got right.

Perlman has a very durable voice. I'm sure he could easily make himself sound rougher and raspier like we expect Batman to sound like.

Sorta. Had a lot of the same music. Tim Daly (voice of Superman circa 1996-2000) played Dr. Richard Kimble, framed for the murder of his wife by the one-armed man, and because this show filmed all over the place, it got in the way of Daly doing Superman voice recordings for Justice League, so he decided to resign from being Superman's voice in favor of the Fugitive TV series, enter George Newbern as the replacement voice for Daly. Sadly, Daly's "The Fugitive" did not catch on and was cancelled before a full season was done. Meanwhile, Justice League ran like 5 years (assuming you don't consider "Justice League" and "Justice League Unlimited" to be two separate series but rather one big series that just happened to be divided by a difference in title).

I like that avatar by the way TruJade. I also eagerly await the Hellboy sequel. Hey, did you catch the animated Hellboy "Sword of Storms" by any chance?

And just for the Hell of wasting valuable forum thread space, a picture of a jolly Wonder Woman from "DC: The New Frontier". Is it me or does that artwork make her look like a chibi character?

So Jane Fonda is the secret civilian identity of Wonder Woman.
It seems like everyone is over the nitpicking. Too bad.

The New Frontier is easily one of the greatest things DC has ever put out.

^^Would you accept Michael Ironside doing Batman's voice for New Frontier? He actually did do Batman's voice for an episode of "New Adventures" of Batman, in a segment recounting a sequence from "The Dark Knight Returns".
