whats the fastest you drove a car, truck, motorcycle, mini-van, suv?, etc, etc.

the fastest i drove a car was in summer of 1994. it was my sister's chevy cavalier and i was going 124 miles an hour down a rural two-lane highway in western kansas.

i held onto this speed for about 10 minutes, before the engine overheated and we needed to stop the car and give it a rest.

125ish. I was driving through the mountains on my way to Florida and just didn’t realize how fast I was going. I didn’t even know my Toyota was capable of such feats.

Considering I have no license and rarely ever practice...I've only gone up to about 60mph.

...That sounds really, really sad when stop to think about it.

I haven't Driven that fast, but I did top one hundred last year. When we were in high school we played hookey from church one week and went for a ride in my friend's parents' '79 Continental (big car) on the highway and buried it beyond 120; how far we didn't know. These days the speedometers go way beyond how fast the car is capable of. But 125? It's crazy to be driving That fast. Not sayin' I won't.

There's this car club weekend going on right now in North Carolina (and Tennessee) near this road they call "the Dragon". Deal's Gap, maybe you've heard of it? You won't be driving 120 mph, but it's a freaking rush!

Uhh... 260 kilometres per hour with a friend's Porsche on our beautiful, beautiful autobahn on a sunday morning. That's... huh.gif... 161.55651 miles per hour, sez Google.

Felt pretty awesome. biggrin.gif I usually don't like to drive that much, except for when it comes to the long distances on the motorways, I actually feel very secure there.

Meyh, I find that the strength of my driving is to know my own limits. As such, I've only reached 120km/h or so. But that was in the wet on winding roads through a Jarrah forest.

My friend's brother took us at 90 down a little two-lane road. That was rather scary, especially since we went over train tracks.
