Sure, weve all heard the lounge music played at the Mos Eisley cantina, and some jazzy-pop played at Jabba's palace. But what if country music were to be played in the Star Wars realm,..what would that sound like?

well,.here are some ideas I came up with. By the way, if you make-up your own songs like I did, be sure to post them in here, so every one can sing along. If you cant think up any country songs,.then try your hand at rap, rock, blues, pop, soul, or anything else you can think of.

song 1.

"Jedi with the Force"
(sung to the tune of Dolly Parton/Kenny Rogers "Islands in the Stream")

Yoda when i met you, there was peace unknown
I set out to meet you deep in Dagobah
I was weak inside, but i felt the force so strong

You did something to me, that i can't explain
holding this lightsaber, and i feel no pain
Every pull of the force, we got something goin' on

Jedi knights arent blind, they are skilled in concentration

light side, we feel, needs no conversation
And we use it together, uh huh,
binding the force with each other uh huh

Jedi with the force, that is what we are.
No sith in between, how can we be wrong.
fly away with me, to another world
and we rely on each other, uh huh
From one jedi to another, uh huh

I can't live without you if the force was gone
Everything is nothin if got no one,
and you just walk in the the night
slowly losing sight of the force

But that won't happen to us, and we got no doubt
Too deep in the force, and we got no way out
and the message is clear, this could be the year for the rebellion

No more will you cry
yoda i will hurt you never

we start and end as one
with the force forever
We can use it together, uh huh
sharing the force with each other, uh huh

Jedi with the force, that is what we are
No sith in between, how can we be wrong
fly away with me. to another world
And we rely on each other, uh huh
From one jedi to another, uh huh

Jedi with the force, that is what we are
No sith in between, how can we be wrong
fly away with me, to another world
And we rely on each other, uh huh
From one jedi to another, uh huh

Jedi with the force, that is what we are
No sith in between, how can we be wrong
fly away with me, to another world
And we rely on each other, uh huh
From one jedi to another, uh huh

song 2:

Jedi in low places
(sung to the tune of Garth Brooks "friends in low places")

Blame it all on the force
I showed up in rage
And ruined your sith pride
The last one to know
The last one to show
I was the last one
You thought you'd see there
And I saw the surprise
And the fear in his eyes
When I took his lightsaber away
And I toasted you
Said, vader, we may be through
But you'll never hear me complain

'Cause I've got jedi in low places
Where the force drowns
And Yoda chases my blues away
And I'll be okay
I'm not big on Qui Gonn's phrases
Think I'll slip on down to see some Tattooine races
Oh, I've got Jedi in low places

Well, I guess I was wrong
I just don't belong
But then, I've been there before
Everything's all right
I'll just say goodnight
And I'll show myself to the door
Hey, I didn't mean
To cause a big scene
Just give me an hour and then
Well, I'll be as high
As that ivory tower
That you're livin' in

'Cause I've got jedi in low places
Where the force drowns
And Yoda chases my blues away
And I'll be okay
I'm not big on Qui Gonn's phrases
Think I'll slip on down to see some Tattooine races
Oh, I've got Jedi in low places

[3rd Verse:]
I guess I was wrong
I just don't belong
But then, I've been there before
And everything is alright
I'll just say goodnight
And I'll show myself to the door
I didn't mean to cause a big scene
Just wait 'til I finish this duel
Then vader, my nemesis, you be a fool
I'll head back to the cantina
and then go to jedi school

song 3.

"On the Senate, again"
(sung to the tune of Willie Nelson's "On the road, again")

On the senate again
Just can't wait to get on the senate again
The life I lead is makin' trade disputes end
And I can't wait to get on the senate again
On the senate again
Goin' places that I've never been
Seein' things that I may never see again,
And I can't wait to get on the senate again.

On the senate again
working with good old chancellor palpatine
We're the best of friends
Insisting that the force be turnin' our way
The dark way
Is on the senate again
Just can't wait to get on the senate again
The life I lead is makin' trade disputes end
And I can't wait to get on the senate again

On the senate again
working with good old chancellor palpatine
We're the best of friends
Insisting that the force be turnin' our way
The dark way
Is on the senate again

Just can't wait to get on the senate again
The life I love is makin' music with my friends
And I can't wait to get on the senate again
And I can't wait to get on the senate again

Not bad. You messed up some of the rythm, it doesn't quite always match... But not too bad.

I'd advise, by the way, listening to the song you're parodying while you write it. If your singing comes up short or long, then you want to redo the line.

Sorry if I'm picky about that.

I don't know any of those songs, unfortunately. I've written loads of Star Wars parody songs myself, but they all focus on the KOTOR sub-fandom rather than the movies.

BTW, this topic should probably be in the 'Fan Fiction, Films & Parody' section rather than the Episode I section.

The sandpeople had women and children. We know this because Anakin killed them how could he tell? The children might be smaller but I never saw a sandperson with breasts. Did they hike their skirts and show him some leg or something?

Also, I can see the point of wanting to kidnap a human and use her as a slave, but they didn't. They tied her to a flimsy easel for a month. It's assumed they had to feed and give her water. What for? Was she purely ornamental? I can understand them wanting the droids, you can sell those for a lot of money, but a chick who's only skills are finding non-existand mushrooms and getting randomly pregnant, you're not going to get much.
