i mean they want there to be a
(sigh) fourth movie
how can this be when they've
put some of the best villians all over it.
I think it coulda been fine with
just Harry as the new Green Goblin and Venom

In respone to an earlier post - Last time I checked, Jonathan "Pa" Kent, adoptive Earth father of Superman, was still alive in the comic books.
I'd like a qui-gon jinn please with an obi-wan to go.

I was under the impression
that he does die before Mrs. Kent.
Maybe it's all that
Smallville/Superman Movies
brainwashing. I too felt that
making Sandman Unlce Ben's killer
is a bit far fetched. Like come on
it really couldn't be that full circle.
GWEN STACY... why did they
decide to druge this character up?
They easily could've
used Nancy if they wanted
[SPOLIER alert]
a Love Trianle/Square since
MJ Runs back to Harry
Why don't you like Topher Grace???
If anything he is age appropriate for the role
not that it matters i'm just saying
I also feel that Venom deserved its own movie.
like Green Goblin and Doc Ock.
If they do go on to
make up to 7 films as planned
then they're really gonna have
to intergrade more charters
and multi-villian movies (When do we see Fisk!!)

thats been done A LOT in trilogies. from what i notice in certain trilogies,.it seems like the third installment always plays victim to the disease of being liable for making sure every tangible related speck of needed info is crammed into the final chapter,.as if to seamlessly wrap up the trilogy so that it still retains logical continuity to the previous two films.
the problem with a lot of trilogy films is that the storyline in the first chapter always feels the need to tell some elongated story. as if the audience is totally naive to everything, and must be hand-walked to how the main protagonist goes from everyday citizen into becoming so-and-so in this-and-that situation.
its overkill...just cut to the meat of the story, and then once youve grabbed the audiences attention, take a short retrospective step backwards to show how they got there,..but dont friggin dwell on it,.like its a history lesson.

I remember how excited I was when I saw the previews for the second one. It looked it would be full of violence and explosions, but instead all I saw was Peter Parker crying like the little girl that he is. If I wanted to watch a movie about how hard it is to be a gay little superhero, Id watch Batman and Robin.
SM3 and Matrix Revolutions have made me distrust every cool movie trailer I’ve ever seen. Besides, Spiderman sucks. Batman would kick his ass any day of the week.

I know you're thinking about the Frank Miller story where Batman beat up Superman, but that was just silly. Add Kryptonite to the equation and just about anyone can beat up Superman.

Marvel Comics is where its at!
I'll second that. Except for the Superman thing. Superman is lame. So lame in fact, I'm not even going to bother to explain why.

As for Spider-Man 3 I'm intrigued by it but I'm really concerned about the storyline. The original movie was fairly faithful to the comic book but this one seems to totally change the store (and completely change the look as well) of how he got the symbiotic alien suit.
The other thing is it seems to be upping the ante too much with the villains. The problem with so many superhero movie sequels is that they feel the need to continue adding more and more villains. Isn't one vilalin (two TOPS) enough per movie?
I'm guessing (and I haven't really read much about this movie at all) that Venom is introduced towards the end of the film. Still, it seems to me that his story is interesting enough to not have to jam him in with two other villains.
Also, Sandman and Hobgoblin have to be two of the lamest Spider-Man villains ever. The only one I can think of off the top of my head that is worse is that guy that was like a Vulture (probably called The Vulture).

Ummm pardon my French but Le WHAT?!?!?!
Everyone knows Bats rocks the casbah
b/c he's like the everyday guy
with more money who decides to
do sumthing about the crime in his city.
Spidey is only relatively smart b/c of the spiderbite
for Bruce its all in his head, d'accord ?
Superman was born a hero.
I only feel for him in his younger
years as he tries to be human
If it weren't for Smallville
i'd hate him entirely. In my opinon
kryptonite should be widely distributed
to the masses..... down with Supes!
(the character not the night lifer)
Back to Spiderguy
Lets not forget how sappy the
writting was in 1 & 2 when
Peter has his little soliloquies
on MJ and how much he loves
her, and can't live without
her and blah blah blah
Don't get me wrong i like a little romance
especially when its done right,
but i can't shake the feeling
that as Spidey turns do the darkside
the movie will turn into
one huge soap opera
as MJ tries to understand Peter
and he becomes interested in Gwen,
then he tries to win MJ back
and so on.
There better be a heck of a
lot of action giong on in between
Thats what saved the last movie
and i have a little faith in
Sam Raimi to get the job done
