i found this link to be quite amusing regarding the upcoming summer movie "Transformers"

http://i-mockery.com...rmers-movie.php

"The new movie is going to be ass. Have you seen Megatron? His head looks like a metal deathtrap vagina. Everything they do with Transformers nowdays sucks, because they know all the die-hard fans (and there are many) are going to eat it up simply because it's labeled Transformers."

YES!

OH HELL NO!!!!

there's alot i don't agree with about this film......

but it's transformers, so i'll go see it. like they said.

hopefully it won't be like AVP and make me want to vomit blood but instead beat up a bunch of noisy kids and kick them out of the cinema only to have one of their moms call the pigs and nearly get arrested and have to hide from the cops by laying low in the parking lot for a bit.

it's an awful lot to have to through to see a film i ddidn't enjoy, you know.

I never enjoyed watching that crappy series in the first place. Yes, I know, how could I bleh blah bleh, but that's just how it is. It was crap. Like Captain Planet was. And so many other cartoons. Come to think about it, I think the only one that I really did enjoy back in the days was Thundercats.

It's been months since I had enough interest to try to play the Transformers movie trailer (with no success), just to see what the robots looked like (out of disguise).

I'm glad I wasn't missing anything!

even George Lucas has messed up and disappointed legions of SW fans when he came out with TPM. He of course, saved his ass when he came out with ROTS (AOTC wasnt too,too bad).

But for Bay and Speilberg, if I were them..Id be afraid right now. Id be very, very afraid. There are legions of TF fans they are disappointing. Even more disturbing is that there are even a select few fans they are seriously pissing off. Thats what they have to fear.

You take a franchise such as the TF and just totally turn it to trash (when you damn well know a masterpiece can be produced; they have Speilberg on this for crying out loud), well,.youre asking for trouble. I wouldnt fall short of assumption that some deranged fan would even try their best to put a set of laser crosshairs on them both. ......BOOM!!!!!

No, he did not. I had to stifle laughter when I saw it in theaters (not on my own money. I refused to pay for it).

This movie will probably be terrible. I think the concept of Spielberg doing Transformers is pretty hilarious, though.

ha ha ha...what did you do back in summer '05?. pay to go see one film, but kept sneaking into different ones, probably ended seeing four in total.

I aint gonna lie though, ive done that myself a time or two. heck,.. thats the typical thing to do when a movie sucks.

that, or gripe to management that you want your $8.50 back.

I have to say, the trailer still has me intrigued. I couldn't give a flying fuck about what Megatron looks like. Who cares? If everything stayed the same, and appearances were never updated a bit, we would've been stuck with that crappy blue and grey Batman costume for five movies now. Granted, Schumacher didn't do us any good by adding nipples, but he's a little off, so that doesn't count.
I'm still curious, I'm still going to go see it, and sure I'll probably end up hating it, but at least I'll know for sure. It beats making a snap judgement without any firsthand experience.

I haven't seen the yet move but to me the first picture above looks a bit like a comical version of the Statue of Liberty without the crown and the second picture looks like something that came out of Aliens.
