Well I don't know, I know more about the actual universe itself than actors and crew and stuff. I'm gonna look it up, but don't worry I won't tell anyone.

I am sorry the last line of my post didn't make sense. Should'nt do these posts when I am hungover. tongue.gif

There is a possibility there could be 2 opr more actors that have starred in both Star Trek and Star Wars. I know of only one derfinitely. That's why i would appreciate it if you could give the roles and the movies/episodes of both the Star Trek and Star Wars role. I mean if you can back it up it might be true.

I left a HINT in my original post. wink.gif It narrows it down a little

Hey, elf. My sixth sense tells me you have the right person wink.gif . When enough posters have replied I will let you know when you can post your answer. cool.gif

Man I knew this would be tough question for all of you. biggrin.gif

Sorrry jordan, despondent. But Peter Mayhew is not the answer. biggrin.gif He actually has never starred in anything other than Star Wars movies, television specials and video games. He is actually occupation is film editor. Something Lucas could use. laugh.gif

If your HINT was gender based ("his,") I'm left wondering (I haven't counted lately) how many Women *Have* had speaking parts in the star wars galaxy? I'm inclined to believe the PT has advanced the rate...

Yep, this is the definitive Star Wars trivia question! I guess it's time to throw some hints. I will revise my statement in saying that there are two characters who starred in both Star Trek and Star Wars franchises.

Actor 1

1. Remember that Star Trek consistes of 5 incarnations. Ranging for 1960s {STTOS} to the Enterprise {2004}. And Star Wars ranges three decades 70s-2000. A time span of 40 years approx. An actor could have starred in Star Wars A New Hope and then star in Star Trek-Nemesis or Star Trek: Enterprise.

2. This actor's character has appeared in multiple episodes of one of the franchises.

3. In one of the franchises the character he plays is considered a fan favorite.

4. You would never recognize him from his Star Trek role to his Star Wars role.

5. In his Star Trek role, Counselor Troi would have loved him. ANd he would have loved Counselor Troi.

6. He and the character he plays have appeared numerous times in more than one of the franchises CD-Rom Video Games.

7. His casting is very indicative of Star Wars casting.

8. His character has appeared on the screen with Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker at least once.

Actor 2

1. Admittedly his role in both Star Trek and Star Wars are limited. In fact he appears in only one episode of each. I will say that role is one of Star Trek's back in time episodes.

2. The tone of his voice came in handy in both franchise roles and were appropriate for his role in both franchises.

3. Love and the wooing of two charcters and the fact their is a potential failure of that romance is essential to the plot of both the Star Trek episode/movie and the Star Wars movie.

4. He is replaced by another actor in a future episode of Star Trek or Star Wars.

5. In one of the franchises he plays a person with great power both political and magical, in the other franchise he plays a supporting role to someone with great power.

6. His casting is very indicative of Star Wars casting.

7. His character has appeared on the screen with Darth Vader/ Anakin skywalker multiple times.

Allright that's it. I am sure Chef knows Actor number one. I am surprised most of you don't know number one. Number two is a killer. I will be shocked if anyone knows it.

I'm pretty sure I know who you mean by number two. I'll offer no further clues, since I think yours were fairly generous.

Number one I have no idea, but I do know another actor who bridges both franchises, and it may well be the actor you mean. My clue: this actor does not appear in what I would call a STAR WARS movie. By now everyone should know what I mean when I say a thing like that.

Any chance I'm talking about the guy you're talking about?
"I had a lot of different ideas. At one point, Luke, Leia and Ben were all going to be little people, and we did screen tests to see if we could do that." -George Lucas, in STAR WARS: the Annotated Screenplays (p197).
