One of the (few) things I disliked in the US was the ridiculous amount of crap you could buy at stores like K-mart and Walmart and [Whatever]mart.
Even as a child, I distinctly remember the sour taste I had whenver I got a toy from K-mart. Cheap plastic, cheap labor, made in China. ETA to breakdown: 0.7 days.
Unfortunatelly, this kind of selling model (ie. huge retail chains selling useless junk at low prices) has caught on in Europe aswell, but to this day, the memories I have about the US is plagued with bad shopping decisions at K-mart.
(Ok, so this topic was about WalMart, but Walmart wasn't such a big fuss when I was there, and technically it's the same thing as K-mart)
I know that you believe you understood what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you read is not what I meant.
