It kicked major amounts of ass.

I like The Rock. He's a decent actor. And he kicks major amounts of ass.

I am going to enjoy seeing where his career goes.

Yea. i love that line "Where did you get the drugs!?"

This movie.. it's just so... TRUE! Johnny Knoxville turns in a stirring performance that really examines the ambiguities of morality and...

I'll never see this picture, not in a million years! It's action aspects can never stack up. I mean, if you want senseless slaughter of supposed 'bad guys', watch Commando.

Look, just stop worshipping the Rock for one second and you'll realize...
Forget it. You win.
I predict directing in The Rock's future. Then he will die.

I don't even like or watch wrestling.

I just like The Rock. He seems like a down to earth guy.

And he beats the fuck out of some idiots with a 2"x4".

This is based on a true story.

Yeah, but I heard they changed the character's name because The Rock wouldn't go for being called "Buford" or "Pusser."

This movie should be banned. If it was based off a book the book should be burned. If it was based off real life events a government cover up MUST ensue. There's an idea for a movie! A guy goes and beats the crap out of some people but the government agent (Morgan Freeman) has to instigate a coverup so the incident wont be made into a mindnumbingly bad movie. Also if the incident was just imagined by a sick producer a movie can be based upon said producer and titled "An ugly mind" Also the producer should be summarily executed.

And I mean really this was just pity. What else is a man named "The Rock" going to do in life other than beat people up? It's all he knows. He cannot host a talk show.

"Welcome to the rock show, our topic today is mismatched babies and the nurses who want to reunite them with their families"

Nurse: "I've come a thousand miles to admit that it was my mistake that broke up your family and now I can expunge my guilt and reuinte you."

Mother: "I don't know what to say, I'm speechless..."

Rock: "I know how to make this touching moment even better! Let's everyone beat eachother with two by fours!"

Or perhaps a professor?

Rock PhD: "My theory of hitting people with two by fours states that, when hit with a two by four, the subject of this experiment tends to fall down. Also the number of people you knock down need not be proportional the your inventory of two by fours. In fact my research shows that one two by four can easily knock down four people without breaking. Therefore my formula is as follows: When Two by four supply equals X and people to be knocked down equals Y you can solve by simply dividing Y by four and you'll know X."

When "The Rock" is pasted ABOVE the name of the movie in big letters you know you're in for it. I consider this sort of movie worse than Deathstalker though because this movie really had a chance.

He is a walking brick, isn't he? Can't see why anyone would waste their time with him.

Nonsense I see a very rich career for The Rock in cinema, what with his plethora of expressive gestures and demeanors. For instance, I hear they're considering recasting him as Tom Joad in The Grapes of Wrath

"I'm sorry ma, I had to keep my decency... Two by four style!!!"

Or as the guy in Casablanca

"Get on that plane kid, me and my friend here have some nazis to beat up, two by four style!!!"

Or as Nurse Ratchet in One Flew over the Cuckoo's nest

"Alright patient Mcmurphy, it's time for some therapy, two by four style!!!"

Or who could imagine a better actor to re-do Marlon Brando's Colonel Kurtz

"...Masabassamuttertwobyfour...twobyfoursstyle..."

So there you have it, a man for all seasons!!!
