Watching 1, 2 and 3 again recently with another SW newcomer I realized, finally, that most all of the issues are have with the PT are cosmetic. Namely, editing.

Put some of those Padme family scenes from AotC back in. Take out that tedious “sorry m’lady” discussion scene (worst scene in the PT, worse than the fireplace scene IMO, as at least that had a point), extend the opening of TPM so it isn’t so confusing to first time viewers (its too fast, and other bits that should have been cut down (like being chased by the fish) are too long). I don’t know, theres a points here and there that I’d love to take the scissors too.

Still love TPM though, sorry. It’s just too much fun.
AotC has become a bit of a drag, although it still has some great moments.
RotS is excellent.

Youre so right. I just watched them again too and the only thing that bothered me were the sets and the space ships.
