I'm been wondering for a long time now and have come up with writing a Days series story which well have some of the same plot and places but will have different heroes and villains. It starts off with a Thief breaking into a mansion and goes all the way to a place called Eden. I'll explain more later but first i want to see if people want me to write it so please tell me.

Huh? I don't see the sense in this.

Sounds to me like you can't come up with an own idea and are just using Yahtzee's with different chars.

Don't do it, do something original.

It well be original. It deals with these two Incorporeals trying to destroy everything and anything that they can touch for a Creature know as Oblivion. there will be NO cults, there is no Chzo or Cthulhu like thing. There will be different worlds and different plains of reality and also Gods and Goddesses.

Ripping off Yahtzee's work is not good for one's health. The Y-Man will probably not like this at all.

Yeah, see, this is where alarm bells start to ring.
As I walked through the valley of the shadow of death, I realised that it could do with a lick of paint.

Wait, I'm confused...

So what does this have to do with the Days series?

And does Yahtzee have a copyright on theives breaking into mansions, because it strikes me that that's the sort of thing one might expect a thief to do. I want to know more about the story before I decide whether or not it's ripped off.

Forget it. it seems I'm getting into a copyright thing because Yahtzee has copyright on theives breaking into mansions so I'm stopping this right now. Good Day to you all.

Well that was weird

Heads up junior: no-one gives a shit about ideas. Come back when you have written this fucking amazing story and then maybe we'll all be humbled by your worldbeating literary prowess.

The other thing is that you don't make or not make a game based on whether a particular community reacts positively to your ideas or not. Anyway, I don't think anyone understood what you were talking about. At least I didn't.

I think the moral of the story is that threads like this probably belong in the Screening Room.
