How about, this is a thread to discuss pet peeves, and so we continue to keep this a thread about pet peeves? No need to vote. I'm pretty sure the majority would agree with me.

Pet peeve: Stupid people and my own bad moods.

I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

Well, Carlos 9 deleted my entire post count 52 posts ago. sad.gif

If someone could ask him to-- oh, never mind... sleep.gif

yeah, that is kind of whack. but, you were posting like a maniac and at times it got ridiculous, and you had so many posts. maybe if you tell him you wont post anymore meaningless short responses, and only post when logically applicable, he may restore it.

you worked so hard at that for several weeks on end. although it seemed absurd to most, it for you, was your small token of enlightment.

Shit, Fuck, Piss: I had to say that because I can on this website. (Thanks Chef!)

And yes, Bond has been limited a bit, and it was Carlos9. But this is not the place for that discussion.

Oh before how do you know it was specifically Carlos 9?

Maybe you spoke with Carlos 9 in that hidden area of the board. Topic 30. Where everybody who goes there are probably automatically signed in anonymously. Speaking to people behind their backs in other words.

Pet peeve: I can read, just pointing something out and I can see that is rude of you to put it in capitals. Next time I will be sarcastic towards you when I find something in the same way. By the way I was talking in association about Bond's Pet Peeve that makes the world go round.

Same pattern all over again. It is like the eye where I look at something but I don't see it as clearly as I do at the corner of my eye.

Pet Peeve: Those little things - just those things that should be really tiny and not matter at all - that go and turn your entire day to shit. And what's worse is when they carry over into the next day, which they really shouldn't have any right to do after you've had a night's sleep.

Dee: Some people deserve rudeness. Actually, what they deserve is a good smack in the face at least. But since the Internet allows no actually physical contact, we must make do with rudeness.

Which is, still, quite rude in itself. sad.gif

Bond: That's not a pet peeve, that's a complaint. Post the proper things in the proper thread. angry.gif tongue.gif

Spoon: I agree that this thread and forum section is not the place to discuss moderator actions, but I don't think there's any need to yell.

Sorry. I guess another pet peeve is when people completely ignore me. So I got a little upset. I apologize for "yelling." (Really, I was just using all caps for emphasis, were I speaking that wouldn't have been a yell. But still breaks forum etiquette, I realize.)

I admit I'm one of those people who tell stories multiple times. I have a few favorite stories in a given two or three week period, sometimes longer, and I often forget who I've told them to to the extent that I tell them four times to the same person within that two or three weeks.

My pet peeves:

When I confuse a Latin word with an English word that sounds a lot like it, so I screw up the word I'm trying to say. Just today I got "natura" mixed up with "natural", and ended up with "naturalae", which just sounded stupid. Or when I say "doctorus" instead of "doctus".

When people spell "massage" "message" or vice versa. Usually in fanfiction, so I guess it's my own fault for reading it a little bit, but it really breaks the flow of the story.

I actually have more of a problem with people who use "I" than "me" incorrectly, because that's not even colloquial. "So then they were chasing he and I..." Argh.
"YOU'RE MISSING A PERIOD. YOU THINK IT'S FUNNY, DON'T YOU? YOU THINK IT'S FUNNY THAT YOU FUCK WITH GRAMMAR? WELL, FUCK YOU AND FUCK YOUR MISSING PERIOD! I HOPE IT MEANS YOUR SLUTTY, NON-PUNCTUATED WAYS HAVE GOTTEN YOU TEEN-PREGNANT!"
