I'll be publishing a book of my collected poems and a play this year sometime. I'm currently in the final stages of typing it up and starting to edit it. It should be done by sometime next month. Anyone interested in it? I can keep you guys posted here. The poems range from stuff I did while high, to more traditional poetry, to some pretty hard core political work. And the play, I Can Do Better, is currently in the running for an award from the Appalachian Theater... something or other.

Editing has been completed on the book of poetry. Here's a quick preview of one of my more nonsensical poems:

Put down the guacamole!
In the name of God man!
Where do you think you're going?
With these tortilla chips?
Do they give you anything?
Except something for your hands to do? Fool!
Mother fucker put down the tortilla chips.
You're doing to be needed.
You need to be doing!
And if you're not you're going to be needing.
You've things to do now.
And this is no good.
This! Guacamole of madness!
Sambuca of indolence!
Curacao and orange juice of flown genius!
Tortilla chips of another lost day!
Did anyone ever get anywhere with guacamole?
No matter how green and floral it is?
This and other things are only for you?
Why do you hoard them?
Hoarder of guacamole.
It cannot substitute, and the sambuca cannot make up,
For the angels lost in oceans of malaise

Formatting, cover design, and negotiations are all done. My publisher has a contract on the way for me to sign now. The final length is about 100 pages and the title is More Venom to Gaia
