Tall Man...? OMG

He is known for saying the now infamous quote, "Boy!" on several occasions.
The Tall Man's henchmen include Sentinels (flying silver balls, referred to as Sentinel Spheres by fans) that contain a lethal pair of spiked blades and a drill that eviscerates the victim's brain), lurkers and gravers (zombies dressed in nuclear suits armed with chainsaws), dwarves in monk robes (who are made from corpses), and the reanimated dead.
The Tall Man has considerable psychic and telekinetic powers.
Ad infinitum...
Yes, the similiarities are mind-boggling.

Yup.
Really? I don't...
I think there being another man that is tall and therefore called the "Tall Man" because nobody knows his real name is pretty much coincidence.
I agree. I doubt that Yahtzee decided "I'll rip off this character."
He's a man. Who is tall. Just like the main character of Doctor Who, and the EMH in Voyager are both "The Doctor." They're doctors. They either don't divulge, or don't HAVE, another name.
Also, people call me Red. Because of my hat.
That doesn't mean I ripped off someone named Red.

I have no idea if that's what happened to you....
As I was testing out my theory that people who do homages love anagrams, I came across this:
Mere Toss. This is an Anagram of Somerset.
Perhaps all of that 'Guardian of the Timeline' stuff was 'mere toss.'
It also 'seems rot' to me.
Realm of Magick: A Magic Elm Fork. Is this the Tall Man's weapon?
An anagram of "Lawrence Rory Guy" (The real name of the man who played 'The Tall Man') is:
"Rear Clone Guy Wry." There was something special about the last clone, but I don't think it was his sardonic wit. But if the last clone is indeed the old Trilby in CHZO (Which it is), then the other meaning of 'wry,' twisted or contorted, might apply somewhat. (obviously merely a coincidence)
Clones of Trilby: Forcibly Stolen
DeFoe Manor Incident: 'A Cindered Omen if not.' Perhaps a response to "Is this the end?"
But I must confess there is no anagrammatical evidence to suggest an homage.
Perhaps it was a coincidence.
You may be right, Tall Man is probably a very common character name, or at least one that is easy to arrive at.
And sure, transdimensional evilifying ends their background similarities.
But surely you can admit how the two together might seem a bit more than coincidental.
EDIT: Fixed errors.

Looks like Siobhan finally managed to leave behind her issues and start a new social life

(Actually she should be much older by now but it was quite funny when I saw this right after this thread)

... what to say now... oh, I know:
Edit: Also - is anyone else getting slightly irritated by the mass of wit that Mr. Orator's assembled in his person? Almost makes me wanna try harder to say something of that quality in my own posts.
... almost.
