I upgraded to the new forum software today (mostly out of boredom) which will fix some issues we've been having (mostly on the back end).

I'll be working to make it a little more aesthetically like the former board design in the coming days.

Hmmm, interesting look. I didn't know what happened for a minute there. I thought I ran into some page about the news or something.

Ugh, I hate when forums have rep systems. But I'm thinking that this particular forum community won't really take rep too seriously, heh. Besides, with the quota at zero, maybe we aren't using it?

What happened to the "go to first unread post" button? That was nifty and I can no longer find it.

I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

For disrespecting rep systems, you gain some rep with me.

Edit: Not so sure whether 'dissing' is globally acceptable as a word, so let's go with disrespecting.

It's right there where it used to be, only looks different. EDIT: That is, if you don't click the "new content" button, but check the (sub-)forum page you're interested in. This kind of lacks logic to me.
We've had member rating for years. And I like the idea of this new system, the majority of this forum doesn't comprise of hateful little cunts who would keep dissing your rep with sock puppet accounts just to prove you wrong, anyway.

Well I don't like the member rating, either, and said so when it was implemented... Which I'm pretty sure hasn't crossed into the timeframe of "years" yet anyway. But like I said, I doubt anyone will take it seriously really, around here.

Precisely.

And what the heck happened to my shiny four and a half star rating? :crying:

Ooohh.... everything's all so shiny and new.

...and it looks like I shall have to summarise my rather verbose 'interests' section, into a far more concise and efficient drunken tirade.

...later.

EDIT: not so sure about the naked, borderless quotes though. it's hard to tell when a quote ends and the reply starts.

EDIT 2: although this only seems to apply to old quotes. Obviously the old code's no longer cricket for the new fangled system.
