Another Spamulator?

QUOTE (dew @ Feb 21 2007, 03:48 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I found a coupon code hack for free XBOX game rentals.
Use this coupon code: TeBreW

here:
"[(url)=http://tinyurl.com/2swlmv]http://tinyurl.com/2swlmv[(ur)l]"
"[image]http://209.126.225.174/images/491.gif[image]"

I think the fake image is deliberately placed there so the advertising company knows when the page is being accessed each time.

(Asked rwhois.cari.net:4321 about 209.126.225.174)

I assume the software in Catfish is the bot. Typical, Ecommerce and Marketting Solutions and the site doesn't appear to be working. Maybe it is now a bot base.

Here we go again.
Mr Telepathic Public Limited bot got unlimited here.

Incidentally it could be in response to my advert exposure for Blocking Adverts.

Well spammers are going to exist no matter what anyone does. I can guarantee that even if it was completely outlawed on an international level (which let's face it, is not at all likely), people would still find a way to force unwanted advertising on people online. It's one of the many unavoidable side effects of using the internet, unfortunately.

For me it is advertising but I think of them as "arseverts."

They do? Then why do you keep doing the same thing?
That was a rhetorical question, don't, I repeat, DON'T answer.

Sorry for getting off-topic and personal.

For starters, he doesn't do the same thing. To the best of my knowledge, Bond hasn't been advertising anything. That's what spam is, the last time I checked. And since this is yet another thread that's degenerating into pointlessness, I think it's seen the last of its days.
