Really? Gobbler, what's your interest in American football? I didn't think any non-Americans would really care about the Superbowl.

Oh, and I think I will be watching it, but mostly for the silly commercials. tongue.gif

It's hyped and it'll be aired here... err... somewhen. I know jack about the sport itself, but that doesn't matter. We'll just gather around, have some beer and party. Germany's handball team just won the world championship, so we might aswell stay seated and watch some more sports. biggrin.gif

Edit: Oh yeah, and there's supposed to be some great ad by HP somewhen in the middle, so I guess I'll just have to watch it in order to discuss it with my colleagues tomorrow mornin'.

This one TV channel here in Finland is going to air it live. For the record, it starts at 1 AM and ends around 5 AM. I don't think I'd watch it even if I had a remote interest in the sport.

And yeah, it's a niche sport around here. I think it's been gaining a little more publicity lately, which probably brings the total number of American football fans in Finland up to 6.

The Superbowl usually comes and goes without any notice in my house, but since it was playing on the TV in the restaurant we were eating at (and because my mother had a bet on the score) I couldn't avoid it entirely. Although, my thoughts were pretty much limited to this:

Heheh...that little robot in the car commercial kind of reminds me of a Scutter...

Huh. Is that Prince?

It is Prince.

...He's rather pretty.

Yup...that's about as far as my interest went - a Scutter, and thinking Prince (The Artist, funny symbol thing, whatever he goes by hell I don't keep up with these things) is a very pretty man.
Check out my crappy drawings!

The superbowl was on? Nobody has any interest in gridiron here.

I noticed the Super Bowl was on, but to me it only meant TV was not the answer for that night.

No interest in the gridiron here, either. Well, my step-dad had enough to take up the TV, but no one else did...Of course, by 'here' I mean my house. I live in the land of American Football.

No, but I've got a big fat 'prince's-guitar' for hockey.

and now an open letter:

I missed it. It is tragedy. Also, death to Chyld.
