I got this link from a Hungarian forum, and I felt you too need to see the hateful little German brat getting his head imploded while playing on the net. I think this is the kid Trey Parker and Matt Stone modelled Cartman after. It was mentioned that this video is authentic, and was recorded with a hidden camera by his mum. I honestly can't decide, you try.

Looking at the first 20 seconds it looks like he has an overkill temper. "Never take games like that too seriously you are only refusing or stopping yourself from learning a lesson with restraint." Seems like he was trying to be non votalite in every game.

David, I couldn't see the video but I must say that Counter-Strike isn't all that good, although it's quite popular down here in Romania, especially among gypsy children. They usually beg for money and then go to a gaming hall and waste it on playing Counter-Strike... I don't know what's with this game, butit's bad. Not to mention that most kids also lose school hours in gaming halls playing CS.

What's with this game that makes it so apealing?
"Once upon a time, musta been 'round October, few years back, in one o' dose TOP SECRET LAB-MOTORIES de gubbnint keep stashed away underneath Virginia, an EVIL PRINCE, occasion'ly employed as a part-time THEATRICAL CRITICIZER set to woikin' on a plot fo de systematic GENOCIDICAL REMOVE'LANCE of all unwanted highly-rhythmic individj'lls an' sissy-boys!" Here is the German brat with the translations.

My favourite game too.

I think any game taken that seriously can result to that from people with uncontrollable tempers.

This time a squeeler smashing up his own console.

At the end of the first part it appears he smashed up whoever was recording him.
What do you think of that?

Categorized forums exist for a reason.

Moving to the gaming forum.

From the translation I forgot to point out that he was actually playing Unreal Tournament not Counter strike. The game types are similiar and Unreal Tournament can be set in teams.

Maybe this thread should renamed to something like "Bad effects of Gaming."

I use to get frustrated myself but certainly not to the depth of the screaming, swearing and throwing things around. I learned that one way of succeeding is to learn from your own mistakes. I had someone literally screaming for around ten seconds several times in Half Life because I had an advantage of shooting the opponent in any way from a tower.

Also from the loading time he was shouting about it sounds like he had a slow system that might have been unsuitable for playing the game.

The sad thing about this recorded example is that it could stick with him for the rest of his life. What happens if his about to be competitive employers see this video if he happens to be looking for a job?

That was just revolting. Though, it took 2 minutes to load the level. Surely that's not normal?

When I first got the game with the hardware I had it took minutes to load but that was back 8 years ago. I think he had a problem with a shortcut for the first minute.

But that is no normal way to behave on smashing up things.

Judging by the way he used the keyboard I see he used the default letters rather than the arrow keys in which he could be new to the game. I don't know what drug he was put on but he was high on something... I see a lot of people behave similar to that straight after they eat their trendy chemicalized sweats. Even the authoritative nannies I saw failed to realize how tempers can be formed by food. They recommended a drink that was high in sugar.

Well it seems this person was high on cans.
Now can this be described as working class behaviour?

Too many to mention. Houk.

Edit: Oh well... *reads topic*

Ah, that one. Is he even playing counter-strike? I thought it was Unreal Tournament 200x... well, I can't watch it again right now coz I'm at work, might give it another watch when I'm back home.

... Edit Nr. 2: Ahh yes, my new flat won't have internet till thursday.

... Edit Nr. 3: Ahh yes, that is... hopefully.

Perhaps it is UT, I have no idea, doesn't really matter. The point I was trying to make is that those who argue that games bring out such violent outbursts in these people should take into consideration that these people are psychopaths to begin with.

Well I don't think that games are the problem. I think they may behave just the same for loosing on something that isn't a game or maybe that is how they normally behave. The food they eat can be a possibility.

Take a look at this. This time it isn't a video game and I don't think it is staged.

Now is this psychopathic?

At the end I don't know who is at fault but where did he learn to behave like that in the first place? (Home, Schools, friends, violent films.) Even though the parents appear tolerant things may not be as they seem in the home. Maybe he has stopped taking people seriously and that is his response to the over authority and the parents are just showing the result to what they can't handle.

So video games are not the one to blame but it can fuel anger in angry people. You give an angry crazy person a knife, fuel them and see what happens.

It's obviously staged, but yeah, only potential psychopaths play Counter Strike for more than two hours.

What's wrong with counterstrike? Well...

-It's been either over- or under-developed during its entire life.
-It's populated by morons who have microphones, so you can hear just how stupid they are.
-They also all act about 13 and take the game way too seriously.
-The AWP still exists.
-The physics are crappy.
-The shot code is the stupidest thing in the world. (It attempts to mimic inaccuracy depending on movement or recoil, but somehow people can jump around corners and shoot you in the head with their first shot, and the targeting reticle has no bearing on where your shots actually hit. You can shoot someone six times in the face from point-blank range when you have a 5ms ping and miss every time before they turn around and shoot you in the face once and kill you.)
-It's boring.
-The models suck due to lazy developers.
-The AWP still exists.

I got as far as playing the practicing training I think which after I got bored of waiting for the voices. The movement of the game put me off. I remember it as Counter Slow.
