Well I finished the latest game in the X days an X series and I felt like paying a little homage to it s creator.
Image as those who are in the know of 3d programs is done with the crappy excuse for not being able to draw program known as poser

In any event,I had some good times with these games, and it has been age since I had done ay of my childhood's glorious adventure games biggrin.gif

Is that the wealder in the picture behind him or just a conicdence? Scared the crap out of me.

Also, trilbys long hair is missing, and he looks a bit too detectivey for my likeing, good work though.

Yes I know about the buffiness and Im' quite dissatisfied with it.
If I showed the model without the shit you d notice he's actually quite thin, but I couldnt find a more realistic looking shirt model at the moment and I sort of went along.
As for the hair,I tried following more or less the pin ups I saw at the end of the last two games where his hair is somewhat shorter than in "5 days" as a guide.
But then again, his hand is blocking the view tongue.gif
And yes about the welder I actually made a google image search for "welding mask" until I found one situable for massive photoshop touch upping, until it resembled little Jhon a bit.

In any event if you people want I can try making another image with the improvements you suggest?

And thanks for the comments and critiques!

Of course he'd be buff. You'd have to have muscles like that to be cat burglar. (How many posters here can climb with only their arms?)

As for his hair, maybe he finally overcame his barberaphobia.

Isn't Trilby's hat a little bit too large? Is the bloke on the left supposed to be Somerset? He looks more like a marine than a scientist. All in all, good work.

Now Dacabe's looking a bit overly buff.

And he only looked like that for a minute. Injured Dacabe would be more iconic.

Otherwise, pretty cool.
As I walked through the valley of the shadow of death, I realised that it could do with a lick of paint.

Has anyone ever noticed how a lot of Yahtzee's original characters all have white masks that cover their entire heads? The Tall Man, 1213, 916, that burn victim from the comic, and the character he made in the Sims called 'The Face'?

Well Rorschach is his favorite character from Watchmen, so thats probably where the influence comes from. When Trilby has his balaclava on at the start of 5DAS he looks just like him too.

Heh I was a long time reader of question before I found out more about the watchmen and the Rorschach dichotomy smile.gif

Anyway.I m gonna be busy the next days but I guess I ll have to work once again on the bufiness of Sommerset and Dacabe

Do you want me put up the individual renders of each character?
