You can't expect to go through a nano-explosive blast without a few nicks. Dacabe was missing a foot and an arm when he was lying in Chzo but the arm grew back mid-transformation. He was also dead.

Okay. So. Why was Dacabe dead and the little Trilby clone not? Was it because Dacabe got hit with the bomb at point-blank range (and wasn't doing so well beforehand) and Trilby was upstairs being an arsonist? It was a pretty big bomb though... it obliterated the entire facility. Surely Trilby would've sustained some damage.

So if the house has been turned into big falling rocks, surely Theo and Trilby would be a fine mist before the Bridge even appeared?

Forgetting that time doesn't affect Chzo - hence the anachronistic destruction of the soul before the mind even though it occurred nearly two hundred years afterwards. Once the bridge is created, Chzo can do whatever the hell he wants, like pull Trilby and DaCabe from any point in time he so desires.
