Hmm. I just checked Wikipedia and there was indeed a woman named Patricia who had a relationship with Jim Morrison. But if 5DAS takes place in 1994 or whatever, surely Trilby would be too young for any of what he says to be true? He would be about fifty...

There are times when continuity is relative. I hope. Oh, good god, I hope. If we want to push analysis overkill to its limit without mention of a parallel universe where the doors..were..younger.. the breaching of the fourth wall, directly referencing us as irritating players who spend too much time looking at doors, suggests that the dialogue belongs less to Trilby than it does to an infinite and anonymous absolute being in the continuum of players who click too much on doors, and that in this particular wormhole, that player is around 50. ...I'm sorry. ...I'm so sorry.

There's a question I wanted to ask after Trilby's notes was released, but I waited for 6DAS to answer it, and it didn't.

How can the apron be intact in 7DAS? I mean, Trilby cut it with that scissors, and after that we all saw the apron burning.

Another one: When the girl is possessed in 6DAS, where did she take the welding mask and the machete from?

No idea for the first question, but I have an answer for the second.

The mask was made of paper. Don't believe me? Go back to the big where the Janine is chasing you and look at her. Says right there that her mask is paper.

Machetes... well, they're basically really big knives. Perhaps the order has one lying around their building? Dunno. They're not that uncommon.

Yeah, it just says she's wearing a paper mask and holding a knife.

One thing I don't understand is, Who killed Canning? Theo or Janine?

Redrobes mentions that the future has impact on the past self. Theo's future is dark and it gets closer every moment, and it might have resulted in a sort of possession by the New Prince... Remember the first nightmare in the game, where the broken Theo starts strangling the 'intact' one and turns into the Tall Man?

It was most likely Janine, since Theo just dreams killing him, and as soon as he walks out of the room, he hears Canning screaming. So I guess he just had some kind of "vision".

I think this is the case of scizophrenia influenced by Theo's dark destiny, because when Janine reaches Theo, he just wakes up on the bed again, and we know that's real. Remember the shock in Fight Club, where the protagonist guy realizes that he IS Tyler?

I don't think that's the case. The most likely theory is that Janine killed Canning. Because you can hear his scream (that was scary) after the nightmare. Maybe Theo did it under the possession of John DeFoe. I don't think that NP is a second personality like Tyler, but your theory is not bad.

Hmm... I just remembered... back when I played Trilby's Notes for the first time and didn't know that Chzo's name was Chzo, I really thought he was Elvis. huh.gif

Edit: I dare one of you guys to draw Chzo with Elvis' hair, torturing the captured Trilby clone with his songs. happy.gif Oh, and while we're at it, how about a little The Shining homage? Herrrrre's Johnny! *giggles*

Hmm, not a bad idea. As soon as I figure out which part of Chzo the head is, I'll get back to this.

Were you thinking of something like this, by any chance:

(Yes, I know it's crap.)
