I heard recently he was a tad ill. I was wondering if anybody had any information on his illness, whether he was getting or has gotten any better, etc.

"A tad ill" is a bit far from what I've heard. He even had to let his brother Raśl take charge of things now, so I guess it's not looking to pretty for him. He's also eighty years old now and even though he always said he'd die still wearing his boots, I don't think there's much left for him in the game.

President Castro has a disorder of the large intestine as best as can be figured. I've written him a get well letter though I'm not sure I got the address right. His condition is certainly serious but he is in incredible health for his age. This guy has never been one to be inactive and in the likely case that he survives he'll be back on the scene.

Well, we were all capitalistic pigs at some point, but we found that getting richer and richer soon got old, so we decided to share a bit here and there, you know, the usual stuff, help elderly people across the street, be nice to your siblings, don't shave, don't buy genetic engineered stuff and start one or two bloody revolutions, nothin' too big though.

What the hell does Socialism have to do with being nice to your siblings?

Oh that's all right. I'm fairly certain the socialists couldn't care less what their members believe. happy.gif

Perhaps you should go and live in Cuba for a while, see what kind of great leader he really is.
