Maybe you could find some mountain bike trails and run behind it! I'm glad you've some satisfaction from your ride. I'm tempted to go buy some more slot car track!

I was tempted to buy the car months ago but for me a satsifying remaining balance has to be respected first.

I am curious about your slot cars:
What type of metal is used on the contacts and rails?

Yes my satisfaction. I'll rest my eyes much better that way.

I have got seven 12 volt 7 amp lead acid batteries. 49 amps!
Think with what I can do with all of that?
I can charge them separately.
Make a wooden cabinet box with shelves to carry around.
Connect the terminals to copper pole rails.
So I can connect to the charger to charge packs incase I want to go out places.

I got the charger at a discount price from the only site that was selling it so cheap.

Still disappointed about the 500 milliamp output on the second output.
They said it was for charging the batteries from the remote controls.
I am pleased about the charging performance. It started at around 5 volts and 0.10 amps and slowly progressed to 9 volts at 4 amps. The battery felt warm but not boiling hot unlike the previous 7.2v 1,400 mah nicd pack that was charged on a cheap dumb charger.

I know that 4500 sub C cells are out there but to import them will take too much of time and too much of money with the making of the packs and equipment to assemble them. These are good for what I can find.

Power supply:

Just a little concerned about the load on the plug incase I decide to buy another charger so I can charge both packs at the same time.

Real disappointment of maintenance. I didn't expect there to be so much of mud. I'll never drive into the fields again unless the ground is really dry. I wasted a huge roll of tissue trying to clear the mud from body, wheels, cover and bearings. The only sufficient places that are large enough are the grassy areas but not when it is wet and muddy.

I have got to find a large concrete place that is easy to get to.

Little-used tennis courts could work well. (Professional building parking lots on weekends maybe?) Get some sidewalk chalk and mark a course. Then set a best time, and work to improve it. You could also make ramps!

My slot car set (Carrera GO! series- entry level) is nothing to get too excited about, unless you're a fan of Mini coopers, kiddie toy environs, and some sweet competition. Oh yeah, when they crash in the middle: that's ALWAYS a blast!

One advantage about slot cars, they don't get muddy. I adjusted the steering trim on the left wheel which was not straight but now the other wheel is a bit out of place. A bit straighter now. School yards I see are big enough but the schools round here are mean and ban anyone from entering the grounds after closing. It is private property but they don't want to be referred to as that because they are called public schools.

I know a place with a tennis court but it is up a huge hill. Might be worth the time and exercise it takes to get there. I'll have to bring my camera out one day to film. Maybe I can use the street curbs as ramps. It can go up normal sized curbs but I wouldn't want to scratch the bodywork on large curbs.

I was interested in slot cars but I had no one to play with. I had a Shell car with lights, a Minolta car, a black Porsche and some that came with the set. Lots of tracks with and round bends, but little space. There was one thing about the cars made for my set. They all had the same motor and speed.

Well I am pleased after waiting so long. I complained at first when I got the batteries that the wires were being squashed. They said the wires were designed to go back in place.

One of the sleeving of the wires got split opened:

They took it back and offered to remodule the pack and I wanted an extra cell put on. I asked them to use all the best quality stuff and copper bars.

Unfortunately I had to cut open the heat shrinks as for tightness to get the locks across:

Now that I have two quality samples I can just order the cells in bulk buying and put them together myself.

I will post a video of the performance soon matched against the real cars one a large green strip across the road when I arrange to go with someone or when I get a chance. I am alone on this as I don't have anybody to with yet. I am a bit worried that the thugs there will make attempts on trying to steal my camera and tripod and possibly the car.

it went so fast, it accelerated up to 88 miles per hour..and now I cant find the fucking thing anywhere!!

I was thinking of a petrol car some of which can travel over 60 miles an hour but it would cost me everytime to replace the petrol. That is why I chose the one in the picture.

I met some questioners in the park and they ask some unusual questions.

"How much does it cost?"

"Did you mum let you buy that?"

Now to me that is a bit of an odd question.
I wouldn't survive if I had someone managing or controlling me like that. Sounds authoritative to me.
I saved up for it and it helps me focus my eyes.

"Does you mum let you stay out late?"

"What?" I only do what's necessary within reason.
