True. In Brazil it's mandatory that young kids TV shows be hosted by hot babes in leather-- and I am not joking. Xuxa, Eliana, Angelica, etc-- oh Christ, our children are exposed to so much crap from an early age.

Including junk food and junk toys with little purpose in my place.

They say what you eat is what you are.
So I'll let someone fill these in:
(1) What you do is...
(2) What you watch is...

I don't consider Xuxa a hot babe, but her (4 hours long? 5 hours long?) show is definitely the crappiest of all.

Oh please, please, please, pretty please - someone say it in my place! I just can't do it since that would only bring up the "bad bad Kraut" clicheé again.

So please, someone? unsure.gif

Just to keep things on topic, here are some links.

Xuxa's show

Xuxa's show contains:
- An daddy's child, ex-hooker, unknow-true-name host know only as "Xuxa";
- A lot of senseless music;
- The worst cartoons ever made by mankind;
- Here and then some celebrity, just to keep the audience.

Eliana's Crazy Workshop

This video is quite old, but Eliana's shows never change too much.

Eliana's shows contain:

- Some idiotic clowns who think they're actually funny;
- A lot of senseless music;
- Childish games;
- Some magic shows;

That's what our children are watching. So, how is it in your countries?

We have Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. He was always so calm and nice. But little did people know, he always wore the long sleeved sweaters because he's covering up "tear drop" tattoos running up and down his arms for all the people he picked off in Vietnam!

I had a crazy manager where I used to work that told me this and he claims he actually heard his name called quite a bit because of how ....efficient he was said to be. My manager served in Vietnam so this is where he gets his info from. Don't know how accurate it is, but hey, anything's possible.

Thanks Yahtzee. I feel better knowing now that Fred Rogers really was a decent, soft-spoken person not trying to hide anything. That whole article made me feel good.

Mr. Rogers was a good guy. Bob Saget on the other hand...
"It's gettin' to be re-goddamn-diculous. If you guys don't start thinking as men, we're gonna have a lousy country."
