Come on people, how many more walkthroughs do you need posted? sleep.gif

You can't expect people to actually search for a walkthrough and read through them.

I mean, OMFG, too many letters!!

It's so much easier to ask and wait for someone like me to answer.

I'm way too kind-hearted.

In that case, you clearly need to spend more time here to thoroughly assimilate. devil.gif

I think I've got a bug here.

I'm on Day 5 and followed the walkthrough but it won't let me through the door. I can't imagined having missed anything given where I am.

Day 5? You mean the rubber cell? You have to get the package, open it, interact with the back wall, and use your knife on THAT door.

TIP: Press R or Z twice to do a barrel roll and attack the Tall Man's weak spot for massive damage.

Well, I laffoed.

It took me a while to work out the door trick, and I also felt as inevitably stupid. It wasn't as bad as in Trilby's Notes where it took me like five minutes to work out what to do in Simone's flat, though. (Doyyyyyy.)

revolution: But I want to see Trilby kick the Prince's ass.

Simone's flat was troublesome ahaha. Finding out where the hell I was was the worst

I didn't need a walkthrough, till I got to the bit where you have to go upstairs...didn't realise I could, as the icon doesn't change over the stairs or anything.

Up til then, I managed to get along ok. Which was lucky, as I found it completely impossible to find any walkthroughs for this game here because I had Internet access problems for a while.

Don't you think Yahtzee is a bit too young to goes all George Lucas on his creations? wink.gif

I would kill for a novelization of the series. XP

I can just imagine that, with lovely extracts like:

...Trilby wandered aimlessly thorugh the haunted mansion, trying to work out what to do next. Eventually a walkthrough was consulted and then he...

...He argued in vain with his captor. Then he had almost the same conversation 5 times in a row, until he thought of the right way to end it so that he would be have his tie returned. In it were his lockpics. "This demonstrates the importance of forethought" said Trilby...

...He then spent half an hour examining a door, cause it was sort of funny...

Oh, BTW, is the line "This demonstrates the importance of forethought" or "This demonstrates the importance of forward planning", or what? That bit was so cool.

'Forethought', I believe. I don't think the expression 'forward planning' is commonly used.
Why did you white out the part where you said you had internet problems? That hardly seems like a plot spoiler.

Well, it's not a spoiler, but saying "I couldn't find any walkthroughs" is more amusing when I don't make my explanation obvious, given all the tearing of hair over people wanting to find more walkthroughs.

Sorry for reviving a semi-dead topic, but I couldn't find a thread better suited for discussion of the last game in the Yahzee series.

I played the entire four games in a brief haze that was last afternoon and most of today. It left me with a few questions that shoot off in all directions and don't really go anyplace.

SPOILER alert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1.Yahtzee, and please feel free to ignore, belittle, and otherwise express your disdain for this question if you like, but are you by any chance an H.P. Lovecraft fan? The games have a lot of Lovecraft hallmarks. Weird godlike beings from other dimensions with unpronouncable names, odd cults devoted to said beings engaging in self destructive behavior to bring being into our world, an occult explanation for events that can at first glance be explained rationally and then later not. I half expected to see a copy of the Necronomicon in 6 days a sacrifice.

2.In 6 days a sacrifice, Acolyte Gariott, (you know, the guy who chucks you down the elevator shaft) is the name supposed to be a reference of some sort to Richard Gariott, the real life name of Lord British and the major drive behind the Ultima series of CRPGs?

3. Actually, I don't understand what Czho was up to in the last game. I thought, right up until Red Robe says otherwise, that the point of destroying the house was to make a bridge that he can cross over on. And then he pulls DaCabe into his universe to be the New Prince. (By the way, is DaCabe supposed to become DeFoe somehow? The names sound similar, and at the end, you have the machete, mask, and leather apron getup that is associated with John DeFoe.) why him, why then, why replace the Tall Man? I know he is also the Arrogant one, the gallic druid guy (Can you believe it? I finished Trilby's notes *TODAY* and I already forgot his real name) and royally pissed of Czho by summoning him, but he seemed to be doing a pretty good job of being Czho's avatar for the past 2000 years. Why get rid of him?

There might be a few more of these when my brain digests everything I've played through about now.
