See, I was hoping he'd release that novel for $5 (like the SEs or something like that) so we'd get a chance to read it.

Basically, because I really, really want to read it.

Personally, I think he's saving that for a later game.

Dunno if it was on purpose, but the word "AMOR", spelled on the locker on day 2, is "LOVE" in portuguese...

just begun playing it, after finishing the body, soul and mind TA's tongue.gif

(sorry 'bout double post, but it's the next best thing to an 'edit' button.. that doesn't exist)

Got to day 6 yesterday, before going to sleep... I truly believe that the word 'AMOR' in the safe was on purpose, as a hint to what would be going on later in that room...

I'm loving the story so far, how it explained the fact that trilby died and then came back to life (assumedly from CPR) in the end of 'Trilby's Notes', the origin of the caretaker... Seeing the cell on day 5 and knowing that the player from "Mind" would drop the parcel, playing 6DAS and recognizing the complex from playing "Soul"... Specially the security room, with that damned petrol barrel xD

This one isn't as creepy as the previous ones, but it does its job...

Now to finish it... =P

(STILL HAVEN'T USED A GUIDE!!!!)

laugh.gif Hahaha, yeah right.

Old Trilby-Clone: "Quick, take my breath and carry it over to my younger self!"
Redrobey McSomerset: "Whut!? blink.gif"
Old Trilby-Clone: "Just don't use your tongue, alright?"

I just finished playing all the special editions, using valuable time that should have gone towards working on stuff for university, but no matter. 6DaS is definitely better the second time. The commentary also improves things a lot.

I'm almost sure I'm less confused than I was before I played it a second time.

I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this, or not, or if I just should not post this at all, but...

Well, maybe it's just me, but since 6DAS was released, the brazilian orkut community of 5 Days a Stranger has been surprisingly growing. "Surprisingly", yes, because it had only 16 members for many months, including me. Now there are 23 members. I didn't do the calcs, but looks like a new guy joins the community every week. The other brazilian communities are still steady (the 7DAS community has 12 members and the TN community has 10 members). The "Yahtzee Adventurer" community has been growing too: it had 3 members before 6DAS came out and now it has 7 members.

Another thing: a guy from Scumm posted in these communities, he's recruiting people to translate 5DAS to portuguese. I think that's weird because, as I said, he's from Scumm, not from AGS. I wonder if these guys are trying to make a Scumm version of 5DAS, and if Yahtzee would be aware of that...

And in Spanish, and Latin, and Czech, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was in a couple of other languages.

Anyway, I'm glad to report that I completely understand everything this time around. At least I believe so.

That's EXACTLY what it wants you to believe.

I meant "later game" as in "any game Yahtzee is going to make in the future sometime".

He isn't doing any Chzo-Games anymore, but that doesn't mean we've seen the last of Trilby or the Realm of Magick wink.gif

Well, at least, that's what I think.

Maybe I'm all wrong.

Which reminds me. Yahtzee, I sort of remember you mentioning that Trilby is the result of one of your earlier novel attempts. Is there a slight chance that you might novelise the series, now that it has a much stronger plot, and you've grown in wisdom as well? wink.gif

I would kill for a novelization of the series. XP

The keycard is in the small locker in the "bedroom". The note on it gives you a hint on how to open it.

Change the AMOR to OPEN

For the code, you need to get into the security room, and watch a record of this cultist guy writing the code down.

Get to the computer in the office and release level 1 security, then go into the security room and switch to the 4th camera (I think. It's that one, that shows the office). Switch the camera to review mode and then watch the screen with the lense from your broken glasses.

Just in case you didn't notice, the solutions are "spoilered out". Mark my post to view them.
