I guess he does, but then so does every Generic Fantasy/Horror Demon™. I was kinda disappointed that Chzo wasn't very scary when we finally saw him, even with the dragging people to their doom thing. A giant eye is a giant eye.

Yes, but he is the bringer of eternal pain and torment. And humans are full of healthy pain and torment. So imagine what would happen if he came to earth?
The most horrific thing ever...

Well, maybe Chzo isn't just a giant eye. Chtullu,Shub-nigurath and others, they're usually huge, perhaps the eye is just a part of a really big body. Maybe Cabadath's portal wasn't strong enough, showing only his eye (or one among more eyes). Well, we'll only know for sure with the last game, or if Yahtzee tells us before the game is out.

That is, of course, the most sensible idea.

This is pretty much confirmed, what with the new screenshot on FR.
I think that it depicts the "inner workings" of Chzo, based on the image title. (bodyofchzo)

Since when has a greater entity had a gender.
Still, maybe Chzo is just a giant eye with a blob body that can injust you through goo.

I think that would have been around the time when animism came up first.

I think that would have been around the time when Patch replied to sputnik's post.
