Forgot about Mario. That game ruled too. I still haven't played Zelda 64. That system was revolutionary and was the best thing on the market for a good while. It didn' last as long as my gensis but I still played all the time, the fun factor of that system was massive. The Joystick on the controller started to create a white powder around the base from over use.

Wave Race 64 is one of my most fond memories of the system. I was snowed in at my house with two friends and we played it non-stop for two days.

I hold the record for the most points on the techinical (tricks) run of dolphin park. My record was so high that nobody could beat it. People claimed I cheated or exploited but I didn't. Nobody could beat the record. At 16 it was the biggest accomplishment of my life.

BTW, that is an awesome gift civ. It's the kind of thing every kid would want from an Uncle. I would never dream in a million years, as a kid, that my uncle would ever get me anything worth while. I once got 20 dollars for a birthday gift from him.

Speaking of replay value, I remember me and my sis would play Mario Kart 64, Hexen, Forsaken 64, and Goldeneye until 4 or 5 in the morning. Those were the days.

But I had more fun playing Super Empire Strikes Back on my SNES in my room!!! Along with Super Metroid, beating it under 3 hours to get the "good" ending, Killer Instinct, and A Link to the Past!!! Super NES was better, waaaaay better by a long shot.

I just found this awesome strategy guide/mapbook for Twilight Princess, so I was stuck buying that too. This is by far the most extravagant I've ever been. I only did it because his mom, my favourite sister, just didn't have the time to stand in line or the money to be so outrageous at Christmas. In my family we tend to get smaller gifts, given the number of siblings, etc.

But I figured what the hell, since he's my only nephew. My nieces will get gift certificates to the mall. It's their fault, really, for not liking video games.

There are WAY too many games that I want to buy!! Wario Ware Smooth Moves, that new Mama Jama Cooking (or something like that), SSX Blur, Mario Galaxy.

Wii Play is awesome as well. I highly recomend.
