Not knowing is half the mystery.
Or is it all of it?
Give me a break, it's late here

I'm sure Yahtzee will come up with another hopelessly contrived explanation in the final game that will make us all look like fools.

*scrolls through some threads*

I don't think he has to do that.

Hijinks happens! A doctor is needed! William comes! More hijinks! Barry ends up dead. Adam ends up freaked out. And you are completely lost in the middle of it all.

Sweet idea. That explains why doctor was involved.

Adam breaked elevator doesn't mean it must be first thing he do after scared ) He could run to his room, think sometime of what happend and then go break elevator when william allready gone work room.. What really happend will preserve mystery because there is no more details to think about. Barry was backstabbed by William just because he is the one who can't remember anything. Adam can but don't want to say anything

I like that idea. Adam goes hiding from William by, oh say, locking himself in your room. He hears the elevator being used and figures William is gone. Breaks the elevator.
Here we are.

Well, don't mind if I do (it was Japanese, by the way):

ヤトジー、最後のトリルビ・ゲームを早く造って下さいどうぞ!!

Can you all see this, by the way, or it only displays squares n' shit?

Question marks n' shit, actually. I guess it varies from computer to computer, depending on what character encodings are available. Copy-pasting and translating at Babel Fish still works, though.

EDIT: It depends on whether you've got the support for Japanese installed... Control Panel->Regional and Language options in Windows XP.

I couldn't find the word 'desu' in my pocket japanese dictionary.
Is it in the hebonshiki system?

Hey, it was not a joke!
I do have a pocket japanese-to-portuguese dictionary.

Let me see...
derakkusu : deluxe
desaraki : rush hour, harvest time
deshi : disciple
detarame : free of charge, act taken without reflection

Did'ja see? There is no 'desu'.

'Desu' is the polite form of the 'da' particle, whose most fundamental role is to mark the predicate in a sentence. Either your Japanese dictionary is crap (which is true to most dictionaries, by the way), or it is not even supposed to discuss particles and grammar 'n' shit, only the vocab.

So...

minna-san = Mister Minna
wa = circle
baka = stupid
desu = predicate starts here

==> Mister Minna circles the stupid predicate that was supposed to start here.

Japanese is simple like that.
