Could Chef make a category along with the other Star Wars movies, exclusively for the Holiday Special? Please?

As much as I love the SWHS, I personally feel that it really does need to remain a buried footnote. But there's plenty to gag on if you seek it out. smile.gif

A buried foot note? are you kidding??...dont you know that this is Lucas' next biggest ploy to squeeze more money out of us?

I can see it now. First he will sell us on Star Wars Holiday Special "remastered" versions, in both full screen and widescreen. Next, he will offer HD-DVD and BLu-Ray editions-also in the versions aforementioned. Then he will release never-before-seen footage of Mark Hamill before he got into his infamous car wreck, and will have ILM digitally impose these shots over the original footage, so we can all sit back at home and see Hamill without 5lbs of Maybelliene on.

Then Lucas' will dig further into his archives about 6 months later, and release yet another Holiday edition, this time it will feature antics and backstage bloopers off the set during the making of the Star Wars Holiday Special.

even trying to wish-away any Lucas' owned product is a lost cause. He's all out for our hard earned cash, and we fall victim to it every time. wink.gif

I think Despondent summed it up. I think some of the actual movies don't even warrant their own forum at this point. I think any holiday discussion can be more than adequately relegated to the "Expanded Universe" subforum.

As always, anything that gets discussed heavily enough to warrant its own individual forum will be given one.
