Well, I hope you have enough of a break in your assignments to enjoy your birthday. I think I'll leave off hunting gnomes for one day in your honour, as you seem to have dangerously sympathetic feelings towards them.

Thank you, everybody. My birthday consisted of spending 3 hours baking a pumpkin pie that should have been done in an hour and a half (as Ms. Sherwood said, it refused to turn from soup into pie on the inside), and pulling an all-nighter to get my paper done. I did get it done, though, and in the middle of it, I took a two-hour break to watch some late-night X-Files episodes with my girlfriend. Invisible elephants for the win.
