Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages were both by Capcom. And they were completely mediocre at best.

I think Minish Cap was also a piece of Capcom's drivel, but it's been a while since I've played it so I can't really remember.

Also, if intuition serves, I sense a lack of Mischief Makers on that list. If someone could confirm this for me so I won't have to be insulted by reading through this shit, I would appreciate it!

You're intuition is correct.

Also, is it just me or does Goldeneye deserve to be on an all-time list? It was mediocre at best when it came out and it definitely hasn't aged well, not like a few of the non console FPSes of the time. I would rather play Turok or even the mediocre South Park FPS on the N64.

Everyone I know claims Goldeneye has aged like crap, but I still have way too much fun with the multiplayer. Either I'm being blinded by nostalgia to no end or the game really hasn't become that bad.

I share a similar opinion. My memories of Goldeneye revolve around me and three friend shooting the virtual shit out of each other with RCP-90s, and to this day some of my finest gaming memories revolve around proximity mines in Facility. However, It is a little archaic now.

However, it'd certainly be in my top games list.

I think you're referring to the Phillips CD-i, the bane of Nintendo franchises. Go youtube that sometime for a chuckle.

Flash forward 10 years, but replace '3DO' with 'PS3'

I've noticed the PS3/3DO similarities too. Both consoles are huge and clunky, cost 500 dollars, and don't have a very good game catalogue.

To be fair, I was planning on getting a PS3 so I could catch up on all the games I missed last gen by owning a Gamecube, but I heard the backwards compatability is even worse than on the 360 and that the online system is made of fail and AIDS. To think, it could have been mine for just $499 US!

but, you still can get a ps2 slim model, they are still in stock at most retailers.

come to think of it, you can also even get a gamecube, if you look hard enough...some place still have like one or two gc's they are trying to sell.'

the only 6th gen console that isnt one store shelves anymore is xbox.

But the PS2 has the same tendancy to explode in your face as the 360 does. Which isn't a good thing!

Games you missed by not owning a PS2:

Metal Gear Solid 1/2. Oh, wait, they remade those for the 'Cube/XBox 360, so if you had one of those, you could get part of the action.
Katamari Damacy
Shadow of the Collosus
Guitar Hero 1 and 2 (also for XBox)
Maybe Ico, I dunno, as I haven't played it.

That's pretty much it. Though if I find a cheap PS2, I'm getting one for Guitar Hero.

You can still buy GameCubes, but they don't carry games for it except at shitty GameStop, despite the Wii being naturally 100% backwards compatable.
This space for rent. Inquire within.

wwwwhoooa! ...how in the hell did you let Final Fantasy slip by in the purported list of great titles?

Hmm...interesting. Ive owned my PS2 since dec 2000, and it works like a beauty...i have never heard of such claims of defectiveness with sony's machine.

i have heard of quite a few xbox/360 horror stories though.
Peter Brady was by far the ugliest Brady kid on the "Brady Bunch". I mean, they were all pretty ugly, and the fact that the Brady dad wanted to always take the boys out on overnight camping trips just a tad bit too often, gave me the creeps.

Maybe so, but my PS2 has lasted 6-7 years so far... no problems at all.
