I have to agree with anyone who says that you should earn badges for doing things, not for learning about not doing them. I also thought the scouts were an outdoorsy organization, but looking at their badges I guess they can be for almost anything. I wonder if there's a "Taxidermy" badge?

1) Scouts are about going out in the woods on a weekly basis
2) Scouts is institute for young boys
3) Scouts were told not to steal, but did not pedal or endore any sort of anti-piracy laws.
TODAY
1) Scouts spent their time inside a stuffy building
2) Scouts are for girls and boys
3) Scouts now pedal and endore anti-piracy laws
Boys Scouts has turned into a sham. The entire organization has been watered down and pimped out.

I concur, but not everyone these days has a nice set of outdoors to be in. My Scout group was/is lucky in that they have/had a huge set of woods right next to it, and big field ten minutes walk away, but some just plain don't.
Plus, doing stuff outdoors just isn't cool anymore...

It is, but not in a homo-erotic organization.
Edit: Ah yeah, that was the reason for why I avoided the army in the first place, wasn't it...

One day I could see them giving out badges for eating poo.
To add something:
Weren't scouts taught to be honourable to whatever organisation they are in?
Now Scouts are told grass up people for one or two rich organisations.
Like I said how can it be stolen when they still have it?
Just because it doesn't have some marks on it they act like they are one less short of something. No not films or music... money.
Seems they are trying to control any form of media like in the same way they are doing with GM crops to the point of controlling people.
"Hey that cross looking star was stolen from our film lets sue the sky."
Oh and the people will get sued for looking at it instead.

Scouts will be instructed in the basics of copyright law and learn how to identify five types of copyrighted works and three ways copyrighted materials may be stolen.
