Hey, anyone else remember the original AGI Leisure Suit Larry? Good! 'Cos I sort of broke into it with AGI Studio, changed a load of sprites, changed a load of dialogue, and made it less lame. I also changed a puzzle or two, so don't assume you know the solution from start to finish if you've played the original.

Here it is: http://www.fullyramb...m/games/lsl.zip

I'm nervous about putting it on the front page, 'cos distributing this game is sort of illegal, and altering it first is sort of even more so. I figure there's nothing wrong with showing it to a few intimate friends, tap nose tap nose.
As I walked through the valley of the shadow of death, I realised that it could do with a lick of paint.

Sounds all good gravy. I'll give it the runaround later and make some uselessly inane comment.

I've been trying to track down this game for some time, I guess a modified version is better than nothing. Thanks.

Looks good to me! Though it's been so long since I played the original that I don't remember how do do anything. Damn that dumpster!

The new dialogue is great! I like the opening quiz questions (though it took me two shots to get in the first time). That was the most annoying part of Leisure Suit Larry. The most feeble attempt ever to keep kids from playing a game they shouldn't. It basically prevented dumb kids and REALLY dumb adults from playing the game.

I had no problem cracking this game's security when I was 11. Probably because I knew who John F. Kennedy was. It didn't matter, I liked Police Quest and Space Quest better anyway.

I'm already stuck, and I haven't really accomplished much. I found the thing in the dumpster, and I think that was the last good thing that I did. Oh wait, I got the porno mag and the textiles book too.

Oh I haven't actually done anything yet. I just decided to try getting in the cab and visiting some places. One of them is a convenience store. It has magazines.

A cab? Damn, do I just suck? I am trapped at the bar. I get run over or beat up if I try to leave.

You might get somewhere if you stand in the street and type 'HAIL CAB'. Then talk to the driver and he'll tell you about all the wonderful places you could go and visit.

Erm... no. It's something I made myself with Photoshop and an old picture of me, when I was going through my more intense invisibility fantasies.

I got as far as giving a load of stuff to the girl in the disco, before I realised that giving up my wallet was a very silly idea.

BTW, is there any way to deal with the thugs in the back alleys?
