Football, thats the word of the best sport ever, but the name was stolen by a sport when you use the hands the... 90% of the game. And there are announces every damn 5 minutes. 5 minutes game, 10 minutes announces, 5 minutes game, 10 minutes announces.

That’s why people use the term "Grid Iron" to describe American Football.

I prefer watching American football, but I prefer playing soccer. I think the name of American football doesn't make much sense...is it supposed to be because they're running whenever they get the ball? It's much more apt for soccer.

I will say this about American football...despite the pace, it's a brutal game. I've played soccer, rugby and football into college, and football was the one by far that punished me the most. Soccer players are phenomenal athletes, but to be a good football player you need to be big AND fast...and trust me, they were all the padding and helmets for that reason. You rarely, if ever, get hit in any other sport as hard as you do in American football.

Of all the sports I played, however, if I had to pick one thing that was the single most difficult and exhausting thing to pull off, it's stealing a base in baseball. All of a sudden 90 feet might as well be 90 miles. You have to pay attention to so many things in such short time while adjusting to a ton of different variables all while running as hard as your heart will alow you without it exploding and then ending the whole shebang hurling yourself face-first into the dirt. Innnnnnnntense.

Alright, ramble over. I love me some soccer AND some football.

The funny thing about football soccer is that you can play alone, that's call freestyle, the bad thing that if you suck you can't do any trick. An if you play with your friends you can do very cool dribbles.
If you ask some people in USA this question all will prefer American Football, but if you ask in another place except maybe Canada, they will ask, what's soccer? but if you ask it saying football, they will prefer football soccer.

Rugby is indeed the most violent sport there is. Just saw a presentation about it. Great stuff, if you're into suicide.

Rugby is a harsh, harsh game, but like I said, as someone who played both, I'll play rugby a million times over before I play football again. Players in football are just so much faster, bigger, stronger and more skilled at hitting you. Again, they NEED the helmets and padding. They'd get seriously maimed or killed otherwise.

Hey now...it's pretty difficult to escape the lurking seduction of man-love in almost any professional sport.

Well a truth about football soccer is that there's a lot of love but it isn't gay, but it still having a lot of love. Except the fans at the end of a classic game like: Barcelona vs R. Madrid, Man Utd vs Arsenal, Chivas vs America but specially Boca vs River.

I heard football teams in the nfl are filled with quarrel and strife between players, steroids?

Soccer is a poor mans sport. IT's easy to get a game started and doesn't require gear.

I like watching soccer more than football. I like playing it more than football too. So I guess it's my preffered sport.
