i, guess... but there's something unfullfilling about sucking on imaginary balls and pretending they taste like ice cream.

Ah, Dippin' Dots... They removed the kiosk in the mall where I used to purchase these... Something that my friend and I noticed was that no matter how old the person was working at that kiosk, he/she was always shaking and shivering. At first, we speculated that because our server was an old man, he may have had Parkinsons disease or something. Later, a younger guy ran the kiosk and he was shaking violently too! I'm sure it has something to do with the Liquid Nitrogen that keeps the icecream in perfect little 6mm bb's.

Usually, when a thread is over two years old, it's time to let said thread die. Particularly when the aforementioned thread is about a type of ice cream.

I bought some at the downtown music festival. Had a bad feeling, seeing the guy sitting on the cooler talking on the phone. The place was deserted, so I placed my order and a line formed behind us. Thinking "nice timing", I didn't realize he'd shortchanged me by ten dollars. angry.gif

The closest I got was putting Ferrero Rochet and Maltesers in the freezer.
Just going to see what they are made of.

Okay most of it looks okay apart from these two which I haven't seen before:

Yellow #5
Which they claim causes:
Allergies, thyroid tumors, lymphocytic lymphomas, chromosomal damage

Red #40
Earlier lymphomas (lymph tumors)

From here:
http://diet-studies....dyesinfood.html

Even though there seems to be less chemicals those two ruins it for me.

I suppose it could be the future of pleasure and pain.

you could send them...in a thing of liquid nitrogen.

Remember Emu's face, people; one day it's going to be on the news alongside a headline about blowing some landmark to smithereens, and then we can all sigh and say, "She was such a normal person".....

I see them at the amusment park like they were the frozen equivilant of Starbucks, but they're just too damned expensive. 12$ is not worth a half full 12 oz cup icy balls. (But it's at an amusment park so of coarse it's going to be overpriced)

I get enough amusement by looking at the prices of most of these resort parks.
To me they are like overcrowded farms except people pay to go in.

If I want a ride I want more goes and longer times than around 60 seconds and no queues of up to 60 minutes or longer like the last one I went to.

For ice cream has anybody tried freezing Ferrero Rochet?
