But come on, no one should allow the "big guys" in the world to push around the "little people". That’s what my argument is about, well that and Gere is a pussy, but mainly the prior.

Again: Unless the story bis 100% accurate, and the production company was actually able to use police force to get what it wanted, then there was no bullying involved (but the story was criminally incomplete). More likely though, Gere made some grumblings, and the 1st AD talked to the PM, who asked the ALM to make some bribes, and folks got paid, and no bullying went down at all. I don't see that as a bad thing. Really.

Agreed on the pussy note: vegetarians often complain about the smell of meat. How healthy is this lifestyle if you're feeling sick all the time? Or, possibly, is meat so bad that it's like second-hand smoke to a non-smoker? Do meat-eaters not recognize the awful stuff they've become immune to?
"I had a lot of different ideas. At one point, Luke, Leia and Ben were all going to be little people, and we did screen tests to see if we could do that." -George Lucas, in STAR WARS: the Annotated Screenplays (p197).

Well done, you've basically managed to object to "the essential whole of human nature since time began". Have a good day now. thumbsup.gif

Funny you should mention that, human beings weren’t meant to eat red meat; its the reason humans cannot eat raw red meat without our stomachs making bad noises and horrible diarrhea later. You see, when humans discovered how to control fire they soon learnt to barbeque their meals, this was an ironic twist in history, humans became more developed because of the nutrients in the meat, but our stomachs still cant take raw red meat, being a vegetarian on the other hand means that your body will become undernourished because we had evolved so quickly, but we are all meant to be vegetarians in the first place. Well that’s my theory of why vegetarians exist anyway.

So in actual fact you do not agree with me at all. But if Gere couldn’t stand the meat then he could have gone someplace else, maybe somewhere were meat isn’t the national diner.
