Recent news/rumours: Unknown groups at Kossuth Square (square where big, right-wing groups usually go to rally) are dealing out free food and paying 500 HUF (~ $2,5) for protestors per hour for their presence, 1000 HUF if they yell anti-govment battleshouts at tonight's demonstration. Dunno how they monitor that, heard it on the radio. Disgusting, fucked up shit.
That having been said, I'm locking up the door to the house, and loading the Desert Eagles I'll dual-wield in case someone tries to make trouble around here again.

See ya tomorrow.

Be sure to take some pictures of that. Dual-Desert-Eagles are just so goddamn cool.

Well, since I hadn't expected them to have such a huge recoil, I eventually had to settle with using one with two hands. dry.gif Not as cool-looking but at least I hit what I'm aiming at and I don't run out of ammo so quickly.

Well, the situation seems to be under control now. After the riot police got clear orders to crack down on criminals, the assholes have suddenly grown quiet, those arrested are bound to go to jail for as much as 5 years for committing violence against the police and causing a shiteload of damage. This should set an example for future rioters.
Oh yeah, while I'm here I'd like to tell Amnesty International to go and fuck themselves for expressing concern about the possibly unnecessary amount of force used by the police against the poor, innocent vandals whose only crime was hurling concrete blocks at people and breaking a few heads and limbs.

What we (two borders to the north) have been told about it is that is happened because socialist government owned to telling lies and deception. OWNED! Not that the government told lies but that admitted to lies.

So, what the moderate pro-market-economy guys are telling is
"stop promising people free housing, early retirements and lowering of taxes, because you won't live to see it, angry people will riot"

On the other hand, populist idiots, who have been promising just that forabout 18 months, tell us
"Well, it is clearly wrong to tell people the truth, so we are going to lie through our teeth, because we want to be elected again, and after us the deluge"

I am waiting with morbid curiosity how our dear pro-death penalty anti-european union government will react.

This whole deception thing has apparently been misunderstood by everyone. The recording that was leaked out had something along the lines of "We've been lying noon and night", which led people to believe that our Prime Minister thinks it's funny that they got elected even though they had lied their arses off in the campaign period. However, the PM said that with "we", he meant all politicians, "noon and night" meant all time, and on the meeting he was talking about that people need to be told the truth from now on. Personally, I think it's a weak lie, though.

The demonstration was held because the people got pissed off at the raised taxes, etc, and the riots broke out because some football hooligan vandal fuckers started breaking stuff. The protesters do not identify themselves with the vandals. Yay. The slate is clean.

I wish everything could be solved just like that.

Nah, I meant covering ourselves by not identifying ourselves with troublemakers, while secretly bribing people to make trouble, oops, I gave myself away, as I have no proof that the people organizing the demonstrations have anything to do with this underhanded process going on. But you do have a point, violence apparently solves a lot of problems.

Many of the demonstrators carried the pre-1945 Hungarian flag, a strong nationalist symbol.

Isn’t that the flag of Nazi Hungry?

Do your homework, that's far away from a Nazi flag.

You do yours:

This is the Flag Nazi Hungarians used during the second World War, hence it is the flag of Nazi Hungry.

But I was watching the news and it looked like they were using this one:

Which is pre-1918, not pre-1945.
