Good, I'm relieved that I wasn't the only one thinking that!

Seriously though, haven't you read what Yahtzee said about fan-fictions to his works? That it's okay unless the author includes sex, romance or him/herself, in which case he'll break the face of the person in question?

I love that!! Make more of THOSE instead of short stories! Those can wait until the next game is out, anyway.

I think you guys didn't understand my intentions. That "fanfiction", as you called it, is actually my basis idea for the next game. The only way to stop the Tall Man is to giving him the chance to see his beloved wife again.
This could happen in the final scene of the next game. The Tall Man is just 5 secs before completing some ritual to destroy JD's mind, when, suddently, the player does something to the Dagger and Amiel appears and she starts talking to Cabadath. Then he will remember who he really is and won't obedey Chzo anymore. He will lose his powers but he will be with his love forever.... And that's it, you won.

Come on, guys, we need a happy ending for this mess.

1213 ended with the world being melted, and I'm not complaining. The Arthur Yahtzee trilogy ended up with the multiverse collapsing, and I think only Yahtzees complaining. Hell, even YTOTW ended with the earth going bang, and people still liked that.

Really, only reason to have a happy ending is for some damn variety...

Seriously, I think you should give Yahtzee more credit and leave all this to him, he knows how to end a good storyline WITHOUT resorting to some banal, übercliché-d love story which has no place in the X Days universe whatsoever.
