Yeah, it was funny. Gotta love that red kryptonite!

I can't see how you think TC's performance was "Hollywood crap". Honestly, I don't see how.

I TRY to see it from your point of view, but can't. But it's your opinion; like you said. Let's agree to disagree.

My problem with the Last Samurai is on script level and most likely director problems.
"Oh wow! Tom you so awesome in fight!"
"Tom, how come you can't fight worth crap!?"
"Oh wow! Tom you so awesome in fight!"

And the fact that Japan didn't talk to the Americans about anything at that stage. For military tactics, they spoke to the British and the French if i recall correctly, which bothered me. And the fact that the last Samurai had to be an American.

Atleast Superman Returns was solid storywise and not [b]America Forced Down Your Throat[b], I would've liked a larger climax scene, have Superman do something that would've looked sweet fightwise. But instead it went for the dramatic. Superman just isn't the best person for that kind of film.

From IMDB's pipeline 8/31/06 -

QUOTE
Tom Cruise was allegedly sacked by Paramount over previous criticism of Brooke Shields' use of post-natal anti-depressants. Paula Fortunato, the wife of Paramount boss Sumner Redstone, was enraged when she heard Cruise's comments on live TV, and warned her 83-year-old husband that the star's Scientology-inspired tirade is offputting to female fans. Redstone said last week: "As much as we like him personally, we thought it was wrong to renew his deal. His recent conduct has not been acceptable to Paramount." The movie mogul originally hinted his decision was largely because of Cruise's bizarre antics on The Oprah Winfrey Show and Today. But insiders from Paramount's parent company Viacom claim Redstone's 43-year-old wife has great influence on the decisions of her husband. Viacom spokesman Carl Folta says, "It is true that Mrs. Redstone disagrees with Tom Cruise's views, but she and Mr. Redstone see every Paramount film."

If I make a movie, Lara Jade will be the star.

Along with Tom Cruise.

That is a very creepy thought, especially since that makes me think of a musical called...

No amount of auditing could make that a good movie.

Unless Tom Cruise himself was in it.

Or having Trey Parker make it.

He's done an awesome musical before.

Icey,

This question is bit of a cliche now, and I apologise, but while on the subject of Trey Parker, have you ever watched the South Park episode "Trapped in the Closet"?

You would like it.

I find south park very hit and miss, some of it is excellent, some of it not so much. But no, I have not seen that particular episode, I'm afraid.
