Why is light beer sweeping the nation!? "Try ours it doesn't taste like light beer" YES IT DOES IT ALL TASTES LIKE CRAP LIKE I CARE ABOUT CARBS ITS BEER ITS SUPPOSED TO MAKE YOU FAT!!!! AHHHHHHH someone tell me i am not going crazy we should picket or something

Because, jyd, as long as there are career drinkers there will be people who will want to be able to drink MORE without gaining as much weight.

K1NGWARREN will feel your pain on this subject. He doesn't drink any beer that's lighter than Coca-Cola.

I drink Canadian beer, so I'm not entirely sure what "Light" beer tastes like.

now, I'm only a part time nerd. so there I was spending a day watching the cricket at the SCG. when I found to my horror that only the 'members stand' served regular beer! and only high paying members or thhe queen or Ian McKellen get to sit there. and after a day of drinking light beer in the hot sun watching a game as boring as cricket.

and i realized what a horrible thing it is....

Light Beer, all the gluginess and bloating of beer, without the pleasure and self esteme building drunkeness you would affiliate with such a taste!!!

If I'm going to choose on taste I'm damn sure not going to choose Bud Light.

A college buddy of mine's dad worked at Budweiser. (I believe he'd co-invented the pop-top or some such, anyway.) the friend said "you know how they make bud light? they take budweiser and add water to it."

personally I hate the pepsi commercials. the only way they make pepsi drinkers feel good about themselves is to make someone else appear the butt of a joke (accordian players, the vanilla coke boom box driver, a cat, et al.)
