Some times I think a lot of couples nowadays have kids, who shouldn't be parents.

I also think it would have been a bad idea if my buddy became a dad at 21 while still geting his BA.

I also think killing off life in it's infant stage is kind of a shitty deal since two of my very best friends are adopted (one of them into the lap of luxury).

Then I look at places like India and Thailand where kids walk around on the street and lead shitty miserable lives.

I think places like Canada need poplulation to sustain economy and that the current population should start having families. But then again over in the East ( Europe, Asia, and Africa) over population is an issue. Lack of land makes it really $$$ to live in some parts of the world. (Japan and England)

It's a major toss up. It's both wrong and beneficial at the same time.

However, I do not agree with you that abortion is about white people only. Other races are also not allowed to have abortion. USA has withdrawn any support to abotion charities operating in Africa. Moreover, they also withdrawn their support for using condoms to prevent the spread of AIDS in countries like Kenya. Whereas it used to be ABC against aids (Abstinence, Being faithful and COndoms) not they preach only A and B, because otherwise US would not give their funds. Well, it ends with preaching only, doesn't it.

Speaking of AIDs, the US also prohibits any funding to AIDs groups that use a message aimed at homosexuals. Essentially, the stupid, stuffy, rich, old, white men in congress got all up in arms because seeing a picture of two guys having sex with the basic message (wear a condom!) made them question their sexuality, so they banned it.

Oh, trust me, I'm basing my opinion almost solely on how bad I KNOW I was my first time back in high school. Give me someone experienced who knows what they're doing any day of the week.

What are you saying, that anti abortionists only care about saving white babies?

I don't see any blacks protesting the WTO or Iraq war. Never seen it in the media, does that mean it's not a 'black issue' too?

Segregated minorty communities feel left out so they don't usually give a shit about issues like that since they don't feel like major players to begin with. This is based on my own opinion and I dont' have any facts to back it, it's just something I think would make sense.

Black Christian churches are not as vocal on such things. It's usually white churches. They don't want the government advocating things they feel are wrong. It's not going to end abortions. Just not endorse it.

30 Days will be featuring an episode about abortion. I find the girl in the video trailer very intriguing. I don't think it’s an issue between blacks or whites it’s an issue regarding pro-choice and pro-lifers beliefs.
I can't wait to watch it. Are you also watching the show?

30 Days is a reality show that will feature abortion, I think it will be this Wednesday at 10pm. I'm not really into reality shows but this one is different. It got my attention since their episode will be between pro-choice and pro-lifers regarding abortion. It is interesting!

Seriously, people, if you're not going to contribute to the debate, at least have something reasonably entertaining to post.

The question at hand concerns the legality of abortion and the ethical/moral consequences of having one performed. Should women have a right to choose whether to have a child or not after it's started growing? When does the embryo/fetus become a being that requires protection in the eyes of the law? Is this all based on religious grounds and advocates against abortion laws are just attempting to impose their beliefs on others? What about morning-after-pills and medications that cause miscarriages and other non-invasive methods that are only useful early during pregnancy? Is telling the body that it shouldn't have a baby just as wrong? C'mon. There are a bazillion different questions on this topic. Why can't more people focus on them and not silly petty bickering?
