In regards to Mr. Nostaw's work...

...

... you know what I was going to say there.

You know, it's not like you need to seek David's approval for everything, dude.

Yes he does! biggrin.gif

But seriously, Dan, this is a healthy community (or so I hope), not a cult with low-ranking and high-ranking members. Everyone is allowed to have his or her own opinion, which everyone else respects (okay, to an extent, I'm not talking extremities here). But due to the fact that this is a FORUM, other people may decide to argue with their views, often in funny ways. No one is supposed to get offended or discouraged then.

Actally, you can see my Tall Man model in the "Tall Man drawings" topic. But there are a few things I have to fix in it.

David, that is where you are mistaken. Everyone agreed eons ago that Icey rocks and that Yahtzee is the overlord of this forum so while HIS opinion is magnificent and law around these parts. Icey is the lovable rogue everyone must love or face the administration.

Just so you know.

Unless if you happen to be on the uplink forum where the national sport is to be the first to post something similar to "HAHA n00b!" on every new thread made

Good God, someone finally agrees with me.

I have just finished an animation test for the Trilby model. DivX codecs required.

I'm having a real hard time with the Tall Man model around here. Due to stupid perfectionism, I put too many vertexes in the model, and now it is crashing my computer. Looks like I'm gonna have to remake him almost entirely. Frag.

Can you guys find me a girl who look like Siobhan? I need many pictures of her to use as reference images.

That's pretty good, animation's reasonable (although the elbows are too bent). It's certainly better than what I could do, although that's not strong praise.

The feet are levitating slightly, he looks like he's on tiptoe, and his arms aren't naturally swaying as they should, but apart from those things it's really really cool to see a 3D Trilby.

Actually, Trilby is possessed by John DeFoe, who makes him jump out from a building. That explains everything, including the levitating feet. Don't contest it, just believe it.

That's a really cool animation Nostaw, and i really want to see your 3d tall man. Do you intend to make animations of 5days and 7days too?

I am having some problems with my Tall Man model right now, due to stupidity of mine. But it will be complete soon.

When (if) I finish this short movie I'm working on, I don't intend to make any other. A game teaser, maybe, but nothing serious. Animating is so much harder than I thought it would be, and it is very time consuming.
