Recently neighbours have been complaining and talking about my camera. They are accusing me of spying on them and taking pictures of the their houses from my window. But I only take pictures of the garden and skies.

I do have some pictures of houses and streets for examples of zooming in on distances and following birds or creatures but I can remove them if they ask. Someone told me about it and I am worried. Not worried about the pictures but the police coming round and confiscating my equipment. As this is the holidays with some free time I don't have time for never ending months of examining of my stuff.

If they want to ask why camera maybe pointing in their direction when there is a cap on it, like the past year, they should come round and ask. If they want I can show them all the pictures I have of the skies and garden or even what I currently have on there. To the point the 10x plus digital zoom is not enough to penetrate the nearest window and why are they looking up at my bedroom in the first place.

I need your views.

Is taking pictures and capturing clips of the garden and skies an invasion to people's homes?

Oh no! I missed out typing a c concerns.
I don't know how to change the title.
Can someone correct the title for me or delete the thread so I can start again?

You can fix the title by doing a full edit on your post. The title/subtitle editor shows up there.

It's not a violation of privacy to take pictures of landscapes. The people near you need to be less paranoid about what you're doing, and just talk to you calmly and rationally and see that you're not doing anything remotely violating. I'm sorry that you're being pressured like that. You're not doing anything wrong.

The picture on my Avatar is one example. I only capture pictures when the sky is like that. I look for patterns in the clouds. Maybe I could start a capturing thread.

For the title when I was in full edit I couldn't find the place or bar to change it. So I might not have the user rights there. A bit restrictive for a title.

I feel worried of dealing with people who say: "Get in! I said get in here! Do as you're told or I'll hit you! Com'n if you don't get in here you won't get your sweets." Whilst I hear shouting.

I just hope it is not them.

I have large collection full of pictures like those and once I get a faster connection and upload speed then I don't mind sharing the entire lot.

It doesn't matter what your neighbors think. If you aren't spying on them, then you have nothing to worry about. It isn't your problem. Just keep doing what you were doing.

I don't care what they think I am just worried about their actions. Legal action and calling the police round. I don't want my equipment to be confiscated for months for checks if it goes to court. I have done nothing wrong but they can make out that I am spying on them.

I need to think of every possibility that can happen to know what to expect so I can do something about it if it does go further. I have never been in trouble with the police before and I don't expect to ever be by something that is not criminal.

Most importantly some people do sue each other in court with huge debts over hedges and trees. Maybe because they have nothing better to do I don't know. That money could be spent on improvments. It maybe cheaper if they fought by reading the books on the legal system themselves on what they can and cannot do and dispute it with other findings.

Well, if your cameras get confiscated, then call the police on them for the same thing. Accuse them of spying on you while you take showers, and spray-paint the side of your house, then accuse them of doing it, so that they can get into some legal trouble.

Just cooking up ideas, here.

It is not just the camera but my file server with the pictures on. I mean a lot of valueable stuff is on there as well. Activities such as property damage and proclaiming it on them I don't think is loyal or appropriate. Any ideas has to be legal and none troublemaking. It is not such a big deal now but I just don't want a war in court.

I'll just accuse them of spying into my bedroom equally which I think proves the point.
Because they have to look up and through a long slope to see the camera.

See? That would be the solution. If it ever came to it, show the judge the pictures of the slope.

Problem solved.

Hot girl?
No they are cold like most of the people living at the back now that the Summer is over.
To me the houses look ugly. Why take pictures of ugly things when there are beautiful sceneries above and below. If I want a person to be physically hot I'll send them to a sauna.

Not that I am powerless but you could say I live near to snakes.

They make snacks out of people if they are trusted.

Politicians also make snacks out of people when trusted. I hope that people leave you alone and let you take your pictures in peace, DS.

In my place many people are bitten except they don't give them the venom they need for immunity as they might have promised, because they are the snakes.

Anyway this is my version of peace:
