I ASSUME that this is ANOTHER example of why the net needs sarcasm tags.

Well, I replied with sarcasm to sarcasm, but apparently it wasn't that obvious. tongue.gif

That's a bit overdoing it. Rather then the entire sentence, try:
By the way, I need to tell you all that I find Dr Lecter to be an astoundingly [sarcasm]hilarious[/sarcasm] bloke!

Has the same effect, but easier to say.

This is begining to sound more and more like a flamewar...cool
Anywayz....I think that a game played as John DeFoe would totally ruin the spirit and style of the other #Days a <smthing>. Personally, I dont really see Trilbys Notes as a sequel to the series, but more as an extra game, to explain the origins of the idol... but the atmosphere is not as the one in the other 2 games. The other games were fun because they were suronded by a mysterious atmosphere. It wasnt just the insane welder, nor the random killings, the freaky music and the smart dialogues...it was smthing special... and a game as John DeFoe would just not contain that.

But I'm telling you all, this shouldn't be considered a sequel at all, just some kind of a funny mod that could be made with, say, a Duke Nukem level editor. wink.gif
I do not believe that a parody must necessarily be blasphemy.

You are talking about the games 5 Days a Stranger and 7 Days a Skeptic, right? If you thought that was comedy, I wouldn't want to know what you regard as 'horror'.
