Besides, Samuel L Jackson is a badass acting god. He has a The Midas touch when it comes to movies I like.

A few of my friends and I recently took a canoe/camping trip and one of my friends brought this subject up, I was surprised that he and I were the only two of seven people on the trip to know about this movie. We did our best to explain this movie to everyone but they all thought it was some big joke, I felt the exact same way when I first heard about it as well.
IIRC I was watching Best Week Ever on VH1 a month back or so when this was brought up, I cannot remember any time recently when I laughed so hard. Seriously the concept of this movie is so ridiculous at the very least, their promos for the movie are absolutely hilarious as well. I've seen a few Sam L. Jackson interviews concerning the movie and I am under the impression that he just did this for a paycheck as he seems like he could give a shit less about making a decent flick anymore...
That all being said, my crew is going to be taking a trip to the drive-in theatre to see this thing soon. I'm sure we'll be the drunk, loud, annoying bunch of assholes who will be laughing themselves to death and pissing all the hardcore moviegoers off

Also, while sharks might not be the best idea for aerial witness elimination there are lots of possibilities for a sequel. What if the mafia used bears next time? Or maybe a crossover: Matrix on a Plane. Like, they THINK they're on a plane but it turns out they're really in the Matrix, but the capsules they're being kept in are ALSO on a plane.
There are just so many things you can put on a plane that the list of possibilities is endless, although they can't do idiots on a plane, cuz someone already made Con-Air.

I wonder if it explains where they got 500 snakes? I mean, you dont just find them running free in NY or Chicago. And if you can get a crate of 500 deadly reptiles on a plane couldnt you get a bomb on there just as easily? Maybe they just had them laying around from some sort of botched robbery. I hope there will be a prequel called "How Snakes met Mafia" and it will involve the term "hillarious mix up"

And someone, please tell me... Is it true that they went back and added a scene where Samuel L. Jackson says "I'm getting tired of these m--f-- snakes on this m--f-- plane!" Because I read in a magazine article that the producers did that because of all the weblogs that say things like "wouldn't it be funny if SLJ said..." and "SoaP! How silly. I bet SLJ will say..." That really irks me.
It's like when someone smells something and makes a horrible face and says, "Whoo! That smells horrible! The worst smell I've ever encountered! Here, smell it!" and you're actually expected to smell it, when you've just been told it's horrible. Why? Just so you can agree? So you can have wasted precious seconds of your life (and in this case, a good $9) to be able to say, "you're right, that does stink."
...
*end rant* I think I'm the only geek NOT going to see the movie for the very reasons everyone else IS going to see it.

I'm not even sure if it's gonna be shown over here and even if, I doubt if I would spend the money to see it.
Yes, I think I'm the only

There is this one part where this guy goes to the washroom, and compliments himself on how big his penis is. After he finishes taking a piss, a snake comes out of the toilet and bites the guy's penis. While the man is trying to shake the snake off his penis, he is yelling "Get off my dick you fucking snake!"
