Season 1, Episode 10: Remote Control Man
8 December 1985
An unhappy and frustrated husband with a nagging wife and an incorrigible son, finally finds solace in his new TV set that "comes alive" with the use of a magic remote control. He turned his son into Gary Coleman from Different Strokes, and turned his wife into June Cleaver from Leave it to Beaver.

What do you guys think of this? Most of you were probably thinking that "Click" was a movie that finally got made (everyone having thought of this plot millions of times during their life,) when in fact, it is over twenty years old!

What is that, The Twilight Zone?
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

the truman show was an expansion in a twilight zone episode.

it's a bit boring if they make a movie of an episode you know well...

but this sort of thing is common.
i recently bought the complete 'hammer house of horror' series.

there's a few episodes in there that several movies could be traced back to.
'warlock' comes to mind

with the truman show it was a tad annoying because the fact that this dude's life was a show was quite a twist. but they made it the selling point for the film.

Nope, it's a show from the '80s. Amazing Stories Not a bad show, but not as good as The Twilight Zone, I think.

Amazing Stories was awesome! I believe John Williams composed the opening theme for it too.

Actually, when Click! came out, at first I thought it was somehow a movie version of Milo Manara's erotic adventure series, which also goes by the name of Click! Obviously, this was before I even realized who was in the movie or what it was about.
