If you didn't get that, he's referencing the nightmare where Trilby find everyone dead, and he sees himself as the murderer. "Woman with scissors" is Trilby with a machete.

This was also mentioned in the commentary of the 5 Days a Stranger special edition, which was worth the five bucks to get.

That must mean that the guy skips through or at least does not pay any attention to dialogues whatsoever, since if anyone had any doubt, the identity of the Welder in the dream becomes clear in the conversation with Simone in the library. It's a total waste of time for these people to play adventure games in my opinion.
